Not dumb at all. It's a tube needle, made specifically for tube flies. Each brand will have their own to fit their specific tube. The Aqua Flies and Pro Tube are the only ones I know of that are the same.
@@evanhogan9219flexible. Tubes can break in cold winter Temps. Actually, it's common with some tube brands. The flexibility keeps your fly together, even in the coldest temps

You can get the tubing at a craft store clear and black for the ultra rig
Not sure if it's the same or not. The stuff aqua uses comes out of the medical field from what I understand. As long as it works...
