THANK YOU! To everyone that helped in any way with the creation and dedication of the 195th AHC memorial.
As history goes it was just a moment in time, a Dark-Time, a Proud-Time, and a Time that marked every one of us with that Thin Red Line that distinguishes those who served at the forefront of combat where Blood & Death reside. Thus creating for each one of us our own personal "Band of Brothers". I am alive today because of my Brothers of the 195th.

I thank you for the information about “In the memory of seven soldiers “. I have only known about it for a couple of years. My father SFC Robert R. Miller was in my opinion a consummate “Green Beret”. Tall, strong, starched uniform and spit shined boots. Focused on his mission. He had written a letter to my mother on that final day. One of the last words he wrote to her was “Remember I don’t run”. VFW 9103 just outside of Ft. Bragg named in his honor. May God bless all service members present and past. Sincerely, Danny Miller

As possibly one of your passengers (in 68) I know some others should be included. We did have Chinese Nungs, and Montagnards with us. And as I usually mention commenting on VN videos. The pilots and crews were some of the most courageous, insane folks I have ever known. Thank you.

In 68 that is quite possible. I flew some C & C with Colonial Drake in April, May and June of 68. Then my aircraft was acquired by our Platoon leader and I got out of C & C and became his insert slick. Who were you with in 68?

@@hughescrewchief836 Re-reading I saw u were mostly CCS, South. And South would have had Cambodians, and Vietnamese. CCC We had yards mostly in my camp, the "yard" camp a few clicks out of our main camp FOB2. Our main camp may have had Vietnamese. Not sure the distribution. Across the road from FOB2, sort of attached were the Vietnamese Special Forces. North, CCN would have had a mixture witth Chinese Nungs, and others. From Feb to Aug 68 I was CCC Kontum. Staged out of Dak To. So maybe I wasn't one of ur passengers. But all my other comments still hold. You guys were insane. Violated all instinct to get folks in and OUT. Huge respect.

@@CandC68 We did some insertions out of Dak To in December 1967. In fact on Christmas day 1967 we were chased back across the border by a couple of Migs when trying to insert recon teams. We worked with Project Delta and their Nung's. Sigma and Omega had Yards, Cambodes and Vietnamese. Crazy job we had back then.
