Do you think some paints blend better than others?

Scale 75 seem to wet blend more easily than VMC or Citadel.

I think vcm is good for layering some are citadel I'd say is also good for layering if you use the contrast paints after your 1st layer of the base coat

Just wanted to say this was one of the easiest-to-follow painting tutorials I've ever seen. I especially welcomed the construction-paper demonstration of how to make color lead into each others, whether you're going lighter or darker on different parts of a miniature. Thanks so much.

Her thought process to show her audience visually the process of high and low light, color gradients…. Learned this years ago in art classes but never seen it explained or shown visually with construction paper and pyramids as examples. Much appreciated will share video with my beginner younger artists,

The separate mix puddles are important when you work with acrylics. Good that you brought it up. Back in the day I mixed my paint to a brownish mess.
That's how I personally used to fuck up my miniatures.

OK, you just blew my mind. I've seen plenty of people work up from the darkest shadow. I've been starting with basing in 1st shadow, adding deepest shadow then painting up the mid-tone through highlights. The concept of starting with the topmost highlight or closer to it never even occurred to me. Thank you for opening doors.

Wow. Refreshing! I’ve taught painting and airbrushing for 33 years….yeah,ok. I feel old too. You are touching on the really important aspects in an efficient and chronologically very effective way. And I agree with everything your doing! To the point where I think I may have taught you. But I probably didn’t. It’s a big world. I hope many of those who are looking for great tips and scholar - how to’s are find you & your videos. Great work. Really great work. I feel I am listening to an art techniques teacher with many , many years teaching experience. You deserve success. I know all these methods that you’re showing & have taught them many times but somehow I feel I am learning something watching these. Love your sense of humour too.
