I used to do the ASTM salt fog testing at a place I worked at several yrs ago. I did it exactly the same way as mentioned here, collecting and taking PH & SG of collected solution. I miss those days when I did this type of testing of electrical assemblies & plated parts.
One of our customers requires us to use either distilled or deionized ASTM D1193 TY 4 water. How would one pressurize the water going into the bubble tower? We are looking into feeding our salt spray machine with purchased water at the spec above. I am thinking a pump with all plastic internal components (to avoid contamination)? Suggestions?
