“thou shall not kill” was always a commandment that seemed straight-forward, it has since been re-interpreted, through meaning of various old languages, to “thou shall not commit murder”. The same or very different.?
Thank you dude, a constant source of learning and understanding.

Murder is killing no matter how you reinterpret it. If God is exempt from his own commandment thou shall not kill, how is that righteous?

the actual answer here is that just as you can do ANYTHING to your Sim character, so too can God do to entire civilizations he does not like because of thier SIN. even go so far as to destroy cities and curse the land to NEVER grow again for thier SIN
the beautiful thing is, Jesus, Son of God came to earth to pay for ALL mankinds SIN.
he wont force you though if you choose to be your own god, and choose what is sin or not.

Did Jesus die and pay our sins to his wrathful father? Or maybe was it He paid a ransom to the God of this world? Jesus’ father is not YHWH!

@twoolddudesproduction420 same as if your wofe cheated on you. you would be...wrathfull... we are made in his image, but corrupted by Satan to have sin nature. god hates sin, it makes him angry.
yes jesus came and paid the price, because every single human is a disgusting sinner

@GhostScout42 you are so wrong! There was no original sin and our God is only Love. The OT god of wrath was the god of the Jews. His father was El Elyon. Jesus came representing the God most High ( remember from the order of Melchizedek) .
Jesus paid the ransom to Yahweh.
      Yahweh is the adversary!
But please believe as you see fit, and I’ll do the same. Peace be with you on seeking the day of the LORD.

You're not wise enough to judge God. Don't read His Word for searching for mistakes that it may contain. Instead of that, ask first for the wisdom of God before reading His Word, and He will open your mind to understand it the way He wants you to do, because it's His Word, and not yours.
There have been thousands of books on earth through centuries, most of them always come to disappear, but the Bible still be there and it will, do you think that is due to the good will of men ?

Nothin about all of John 6? "You must eat my body and drink my blood or you will have no life in you". Repeated 7 times. John 3 says you must believe, John 6 says what you must believe.

Look, honestly the only way to prove that the Bible is even true, and that it originated from God, is by determining how accurate the Bible's contents are in terms of history, science, prophecy, practicality, harmony, and more.
We should compare its contents with the facts to see whether it is accurate and true. We should compare its contents with archeological finds to see whether they match. We should analyze its advice whether it is effective or not. We should see all its reports about creation and science and see whether it contains facts or fallacies. We should examine its prophecies whether they came true or not. And we should see whether its words and counsel are powerful, reaching and changing people's hearts and lifestyle. Only then could we conclude whether the Bible came from God or not.
Do I need to list all the contradictions?
And the Bible also clearly says, God is not a God of Confusion.

new testament is the earliest documents we have from the early church. its a snap shot of probably 132AD as the literature took time to be sorted and cannonized.
indeed the events in the new testament are among the most throughally acccounted for, with dozens of early manuscripts being preserved. compared to the single or more often fragmentory manuscripts we base most of history on.
