Speedrun of the century. The improvements this game have seen since 2021 are undescribably numerous and you, Jhay, are in the center of all of it. This speedrun, along with your countless barrier-shattering 120 world records resulting in a mindboggling 5:09, are the proof that it was always meant to be you. I am so proud of you for how you not only advanced this game into areas not even imaginable 2 years ago, but also for bringing together a huge community towards this game. From our Any% Mario rivalry over your 5:27 in 120 to this very speedrun, it was always meant to be you. Hats off Jhay, you're amazing.
Congrats! I personally am not in the SMG Speedrunning Community but seeing a world record go from 2:15:XX to 2:13:XX in one go is absolutely mind boggling. Thanks for your and the community's effort! :)

The fact that the WR for Luigi Any% skipped 2h14m entirely is insane. I feel like that's completely unheard of for a game thats >15 years old! Keep up the amazing work Jhay.

I saw some of the stream last night, and although I didn't see it all, I just had a bit of a feeling you were gonna break the record. Hell, even if you didn't, it still would've been very impressive.

This is easily the greatest speedrun this game has ever seen, and likely ever will. I'm in total disbelief over how good this run is, but I could not be any less impressed about it than I am now.

Also the load times appear to be faster than normal; I still don't get why they combined Wii and Switch releases together for this game with such an obvious difference.
That and 2P can make for higher and further jumps on Switch not possible on Wii.
