When playtesting, my friend and I had didn't really see it come up that often - but this was also because we were jumping backwards and upwards with the Sparkle of Destiny option. Who knew going back to a level 5 Rapid to prevent bounce or deletion would be so effective?

@@AdamTCG Nonsense! I respect each and every viewer's opinion and want to open discussion in regards to why you think a card would work best in the deck. DeathXmon has very much become a staple in decks, and with so many tamers running around this is a valid consideration. Not to mention it stomps out DNA digivolution's partition's effect if the level 5 is de-digivolve and nukes the board of level 4's.
Truuuue but the issue here is if you flip Mother turn 1 that puts you behind 2 turns now becuase you've gotta promote then hatch again to start raising in the back.
This basically the build I was thinking of running the advanced deck gave you everything just add the x antibodies. I’m super excited for the set, not for my bank account after ordering the rapidmons
still not sure about terriermon x: - evolves for 3 in bt8 rapid - cannot be played by double typhoon i think 2 at most is what i would play sparkle of hope also doesnt trigger rapid x if skipping over directly from lv4 gargomon i feel the main advantage of green is the lopmon's alliance to beat over magna x and bugs
For Terriermon X, I agree! I think 2-3 is going to be the sweet spot for it's utilization. Sparkle of Hope doesn't trigger Rapidmon X but it does let you climb up there quickly!
I was thinking don't use gargo lv4 and use more searcher terrir, more ex4 terrier and also bt8. But if sparkle also works on that gargo to get rapix faster and get that jamming. I might think to change the build.
The option says Digimon with "Gargomon" or "Rapidmon" in NAME. Based on how it's worded, I have to assume right now it works with "Gargomon" and "MegaGargomon"
You can definitely run Mimi Tachikawa. It's searchable off Double Typhoon and it's also used for hatching another egg or promoting out. One reason I don't utilize this, or the new Henry is the Willis can get you reduction costs, and EX4 Terriermon only finds Henry. That being said, you don't necessarily need the extra promote now because Double Typhoon can play your extra bodies for alliance or other effects.

Everyone's thrilled about Magnamon, and I know Rapidmon is gonna get price-hiked just due to being a secret (that's unavoidable), but I'm out here hoping everyone gets so wrapped up n Magnamon hype that Rapidmon maybe swings under the radar enough just to the point where X becomes moderately affordable for me at some point. I just gotta get some BT8 Rapidgolds to finish off this deck before BT16 comes out. Also I did call out your use of Mega Man X music in the Magnamon video, I will also call out the use of Zero's theme on this one; comparing Magnamon and Rapidmon to X and Zero is quite an interesting thought!

anyway I tested omnimon zwart. the one that evolves to 6 on black and purple. you play lv5 rapidmons which are very big and possible targets for ace
Not a bad though either. You can technically HPD into Omnimon Zwart!

Pretty much! That's why the advanced starter deck is so good. Buy two of those... and then like 3 sets of cards from BT16 and you're ready to go!

Worth noting that Terriermon X can’t evo into BT8 Rapidmon for its black box cost. It predates the (lvl3 in name) black boxes.
This is true. It's the only other unfortunate use of black text boxes from previous deck. We're in luck there isn't a Veemon X... yet.

One of my buddies I playtest with had so many hilarious plays with this deck. Locked me out of even going into Paildramon basically.
