I stopped watching violent tv shows, listening to music with explicit lyrics, unsubscribed to most of my channels. Sit in silence and wait to listen to God speak instead of binge watching movies. Now the time I thought I didn’t have has been freed up to commune with God and to rest. 😊😊😊

Agreed! I’m in conflict with a loved one and my feelings are hurt. I was torn between “getting them told” or holding my tongue. In truth I just need to let God handle this very complicated situation for me. I’m not their Holy Spirit, l will trust in Him to speak to the both of us. Thank you for such a powerful word.

Thank you for this message. I would like to add for the ones that may be struggling with this video (because my mouth used to be terrible, sometimes still is). Jesus was accused, lied to, and suffered so much, yet he was quiet in many situations and removed himself when necessary. He gave many examples of it and when, I can only assume, that it was too hard, he would pray and cry out to God. To the point of sweating that looked like dripping blood. I mean, like the Man fasted for 40 days and 40 nights, talk about being quiet!! We have a Father that cares about us all and knows the tribulations we go through....if we reign with Christ, we suffer with him as well....the gentleness and quiet of that spirit pleases God and helps us die to self, selfishness and self-righteousness. I know I struggle with this inside, because I can say nothing all day if need be, but my body language and face aren't quiet, help me Lord!!! So I'm very grateful for the gentle reminder from God through this sweet sister to be still in my heart as well. Many blessings!

This came at the best time! I expressed my pain to someone I care about out of anxiousness without consulting God first. I changed the message after hearing this word so thank you.
I struggled with having a quiet spirit until I realized I was in an abusive marriage. It's absurd to think you can have a quiet spirit when you have someone following you around the house verbally berating you while you try to serve the family. It's foolish to think you can build peace with a person who finds it appropriate to greet you with yelling and insults when you come home after working for 14 hrs. .. when I faced the fact that I was responsible for Myself and Not for managing another person's issues, the freedom that came with that understanding was extremely liberating. Obeying the word of God in 2 Timothy 3:1-5 where we are told to "Stay Away from such people" showed me the truth that sometimes we are allowing other people to steal our peace! Once I left him my migraines stopped, my panic attacks stopped, I began sleeping again! And even my children stopped having nightmares, panic attacks and wetting the bed.
Make sure, as you pursue a quiet spirit, that you do Not allow Anyone to take that away from you!
I feel like I've never had a quiet spirit and I'm failing especially in my parenting my son and I'm a single Mother. This message spoke to me on all levels concerning this and not just my parenting with just everything, work, or relationships, just life. I more than anything want to just get it right and not be in fear 😭😭
Awe mama I pray God turns his way in your direction because he loves you and he hears your cry. He sees your doing the best you can and you genuinely want to do good. Everything is gonna be ok. I became involved with a very powerful but unsaved gentleman. Many times, I try to expound the Gospel to him, but what I have gotten in my spirit is.... meek and quiet spirit. So I humble myself, speak softly, pray to the Lord, and uplift him with kind words, even when he ticks me off. It has been a gamechanger. I am treated like a queen. He feels like a king. God is so wise, even in my foolishness..
I pray that he has committed to The Lord - otherwise this is missionary dating, and you want to guard your heart!
Be not unequally yoked with non- believers. This is disobedience. God tells us this for a reason. For our own good. Not sure whats going on with you now as you wrote this a year ago.

My husband and I got in a disagreement. As usual we can go days not talking to each other. To keep peace in my home I knew I had to go to him first. Well let me tell you, I did go but I went kicking and screaming (inside of me). After I did he still didn't talk to me. I had to do it 3 TIMES! the first 2 times was very painful. The last time wasn't hard at all because I remembered I was doing it for God not my husband.
This video has truly blessed me today! My husband is so controlling and I have always been trying to defend myself to him about his insecurities! God is so good! Because He knows I really needed this! Hearing from others that I should speak up more for myself. But now I see it’s better to be silent and let God be God!!! Roman's 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles (MOST modern day Europeans/Caucasians/ etc) be come in. (Yes there are some black “dark skinned” gentile people as well but the main gentiles ruling this world behind the scenes are in fact “white” gentiles. Gentiles are known for being practitioners of lawlessness although not ALL gentiles are lawless but rather Most as a whole.
Part of the blindness is that we would not know who the true Father of Jacob(Israel) was and that we would worship false gods of [wood and stone] partially referring to worship of the cross(wood) and the “idol” of christianity the “jesus” that hangs on the cross tends to be made of (stone). Worship not literally meaning to bow down and speaking in gibberish nonsense tongue waving hands up and down, but rather worshiping meaning “To Submit To/Obey”. The speaking in tongue that some Christians do is nonsense, speaking in tongue only refers to the ability of being able to speak in a language or many languages to spread your message across multiple nations. They literally crusaded all over the world, had TMH’s people murdered, burned women alive, and made laws against poor people (peasants) from having translated Bibles and books of education in the past.
Who are they to condemn a book for any of us to read? They are certainly in no position to order us and they are most certainly NOT our Creator nor the Savior.
Do not trust those who come in sheep's clothing but are rather ravaging wolves. It has been told of us to be as harmless as doves AND as wise as serpents. For one to be wise, You must research and READ, and educate yourself, AND prove ALL TRUTH. The only one to lead you is The Most High. Pray for insight but don't trust when LIARS tell you NOT to read something but approve of what you “Should”!
It is good that we pray for you, and I do hope you pray for me as well. However, the decision is ours as to whether or not we fully submit to his will.
The Most High wants us to submit to his will through our own decisions. That is why the Messiah says if any man comes to me, let him deny HIMSELF. That is why the word also says to be transformed by the renewing of OUR minds. That’s why it says every man will have to give an account for what he hath done.
It is personal accountability and the sooner we accept this, the closer we will become to actually making the decisions that will make us submit fully to his will
And for those of you who deny the existence of The Most High or don’t take the ancient scriptures seriously, you need to seriously wake up. Biblical prophecy is literally unfolding right before our eyes. This is not a game.
A few notable mentions: Women wearing makeup should repent and change no debate, people who smoke weed (sorcery) should repent and change no debate, people who eat upon the flesh of animals… should reconsider. Everything is going according to prophecy, even ‘they’ have to move accordingly.. Go and sin no more and put in work for the kingdom. He that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved. This was awesome. I just prayed to God about helping me overcome my frustrations and anger I had since a child. This has helped me to better understand how to allow the holy spirit lead and guide me and that I do not always have to feel like I have to win the battle, because the battle is already won when I allow the holy spirit to lead. In Ecclesiastes 3, we read that there is a time to speak and a time to be silent, a time for war and a time for peace, a time to heal and a time to kill. Some Bible scholars have attributed this book and chapter to King Solomon. Your video is hugely enlightening on what can happen when we choose to speak with quiet power, rather than exploding in anger or becoming defensive when we feel wronged. We read in the Bible where God has shown his wrath and anger and as we read scripture we understand the behaviors that moved God to anger. But, then God poured himself into flesh in a virgin's womb and Jesus Christ was born to save God's creation from itself. I recall one occasion when Jesus turned over the tables in His father's temple, but there are many more situations where he preached and acted and reacted to wrongdoing in humility with quiet and wise statements and questions. When He was murdered on the cross, He said, "Father forgive them for they know not what they do." I don't believe that I've met any human with the ability to respond that way when they've been jailed, beaten, spit on, given vinegar rather than water and then nailed to the cross even though guilty of no wrongdoing. God knows that I have to lean on Him for understanding when I feel wronged. My flesh usually wants to speak, and not quietly. Thank you for reminding us of quiet power in a world that too often responds in a manner that is negative physically, spiritually and emotionally.
Before watching this video, I watched the one about setting purposeful goals. You had mentioned choosing a word for the year. I said a very quick prayer about it while vacuuming (LOL) then started watching this video. I do not have a quiet spirit but I desperately aim for that. While watching this video, I realized my word is QUIET. My verse of the year is Job 6:24 Teach me, and I will be quite; show me where I have been wrong.

Just as I was about to VENT to my daughter about a family member. I had a feeling I shouldn't do it but was intending to do it anyways and then I was led to this video😂. Holy Spirit has been working on me with my mouth/words. I am that person who if I believe I'm right, whether I have receipts or not. I'm going to prove my point and get the last word in🤦. Thank you for reminding me that I have work to do and in the end, I will benefit more from being quiet than not. God bless!
Thank you sister. I enjoyed this. I'm trying to implement this daily. As a woman it does take wisdom to know what to say and when to say it and also what not to say. I live with my two sisters and sometimes the devil can really cause miscommunication between us so having a meek and quiet spirit is absolutely what I believe will minimize that.

First of all. Thank you so much. I've learned so much from your videos. I'm going through a storm, and I had to let go of the anger, lashing out. The language that was coming out of my mouth was oh so bad. Once, I STOPPED all of that and just let GOD take the wheel. I'm still in the storm, but letting go hss brought God in to walk with me. It's bad, but it could be worse without God. All that noise will push God back, so now I'm quiet my tone is soft. I'm able to show love to others and trying to just be patient and wait on God

I have struggled for years, both personally and professionally for being the one with the answers, the mouthy responses. And although my marriage ended because of many other factors, i did not help matters when it came to this act. I can tell you that I did not have a quiet spirit back then. Now, it is constantly a work in progress.

Hi this video was so informative, I loved when you said in 15:06, “why would a quiet spirit be precious to God? Because it is a reflection of your faith in Him.” To me this was KEY! I feel like these things bounce off each other, having faith and trusting in God gives you a sound mind and quiet spirit, & vice versa a sound mind and quiet spirit allow you to have faith and trust in God bc you can hear him better! Just like in the story of Elijah… GOD was in a quiet whisper.

I pray for this. I came from an abused up bringing where the bible was used to punish me and beat me. I stirred away from God for many years because I wanted no part of such a mean God. Here I am later in life back in God's life. I repented to Jesus. Asked for forgiveness of my sins. Asked that he take me back. I've been reading the Bible for well over 5 years but still feel lost at times. I'm struggling with anxiety in both this world and the spiritual world. I question if I'm hearing God's word or satans words at times. I feel like a lost soul thats desperately trying to get God's approval. I've asked for help. I put all my sin in God's hands to teach me how to deal with it. But I sit here still in question. What do I do? I'm praying this quiet spirit will be an answer to my prayers. Thank you for this video and please pray for me.
I pray that God will place a circle of people and Angels around you to talk with to help remove the loneliness, anxiety and frustration that you feel. If you attend a church with people who use God's word to build up rather than tear down, I encourage you to confide in them. If you don't attend such a church, I encourage you to seek one out while you continue to lean on God for understanding. Sometimes God will answer prayer by sending people into our lives to help us.

I practiced this today before I watched this video, and it was so powerful seeing how God moved in the person that I didn't respond to negatively. This was eye-opening! God worked in the heart of this person, and he apologized to me as soon as I came home. Thank you Lord, that I was able to seek you in that moment, instead of reacting negatively. ❤

I sometimes really just need to keep my mouth shut. Even now I felt like I had to share it with the world. I find it so difficult not to let my emotions and past experiences control me. It is the thorn in my flesh. Lord please help me. I am like a kettle boiling and then it comes out so ugly and prideful and entitled. Lord forgive me and help me. I confess it here. 🙏
