This is what I want so that I can raise my children the right way. I saw a lady who a small child and as they were crossing the street she said, “make sure you look both ways when you cross the street” haha so cute. I also want to teach her how to take the bus and train just in case. 🤔I said her but wouldn’t mind having a little boy to haha
I think it's interesting that non-Christians see Christianity as demeaning to women. But this description is very empowering and a phenominal goal to achieve! Maybe they hear the passage, "submit to your husbands" and assume that Christian women are entrapped. But a proverbs 31 woman is independent, strong, wise, beautiful, and FREE. Everything that modern women want to be! They don't have to be a man to be strong! This is true feminism. And you don't necessarily HAVE to have a husband to be a proverbs 31 woman either. Just humble yourself and you will feel empowered through the Lord. Women now a days are so misguided. I'm so thankful to be surrounded by a Christian community.

Women get to choose whether they submit or not, they are not forced to do it. it is suppose to be a choice that comes from humility.
@On TheEdge That is just your pride talking. you think you can arrange Gods creation better than he can. while you're at it tell lionessess to stop hunting and tell the male lions to stop protecting the pride at the risk of their own lives. And if you so choose, since you think your ways are better than Gods, refuse to submit to your husband, you become his protector and willingly give up your life for him and let him submit to your leadership. We are all called to serve one another in different ways. Even Jesus said he came to serve not to be served. but you're too good for that apparently. God is not forcing you to submit to your husband, he is telling you this is how nature works, but if you disagree feel free to do things your own way.

Think about the family finances and inheritances for the children and act intelligently about it. Is hard working. She is Loyal and walks honorably before the Lord. Worships her God and loves Him with her whole heart. Knows how to say No. And still smiles. Cares for the needy. Is forgiving and merciful.

Be patient and keep waiting and praying for the one. I have waited over 20 years. I finally gave it to God and relaxed. About 5 months I met him and we are soon to be Wed You both will know it without a doubt. God is wonderful and he does keep his promises.

God is trying to bring me back to realizing how important this woman is but it's really hard if your the only one in your household with this heart for what God had In mind for a woman and wife
A while back I struggled with guilt over being self employed and basically working while I was a wife and mother, but God kept nudging me to read Proverbs 31. Then I saw it with fresh eyes that this woman is industrious, entrepreneurial and makes the most of what she has from God in order to benefit her family, and it changed everything ❤
I believe proverbs 31 is not only describing a godly woman, but Christ's bride the true church. I believe there are some core principals in proverbs 31 that are also throughout the Word encouraging all believers such as fearing the Lord, extending help to the poor and needy, also being clothed in strength and dignity. We laugh without fear of the future because we trust in the Lord. Anyway, great post brother! Could you maybe elaborate a little on your thoughts of the proverbs 31 resembling the true church?
Great thoughts Haylee McBride. I don't think that point is explicit in the text but I don't see any reason we can't take the principles in proverbs 31 and apply them to the church. Some also believe that this text is referring to lady wisdom in general and not to actual females. Proverbs in general is all about principles and not promises or specifics.

My perspective is, with everything she has done or does, she has a good character. A Godly character. That is what essentially sets her apart. That is one of the most important things in life to have.
I like the verse that states she not only provides for her family but also her servants. ( no matter the social status, every person within her reach will be loved and cared for because of who she is, not who they are. Love has no prejudice.) Verse 15

I am this woman, I was called to the lord after marrying and now we’ve got 43 years. I had a career, but I sew, garden, can, clean and take care of family. I change plans if needed but you need to take care of yourself. My friends know my priority order.
We need to continue these traits even when family doesn’t recognize them, they will eventually

This is another great video Mark however sadly most Christian men today aren't looking for Proverbs 31st women they're looking for a dime piece I think it's imperative that Christian women build themselves up and generate these qualities however they shouldn't think that if they've worked on all these qualities that they're going to get a good Christian husband. Proverbs 31 :22 is a good scripture to remind women that they need to take care of themselves and look their best also our cups as Christian women need to be full and when it runs over we can give that to other people but we have to strike a fine balance most Christian women sometimes are overworked in the congregation and it's very important that they don't give what they don't have that's not what God is teaching us. Sometimes I think Christian women are in a losing game but then I see how God's umbrella protects us from many things that could damage Us in this world.

Me and my boyfriend have this wonderful idea for his kids group at church. We would like to talk to these children about helping others in need mostly those at there school and in the community. I remember when years ago some young teens helped me when I was going through troubles so I’d like to do the same. I’d like to give them certain things to do at school such as “be kind to a teacher” or “befriend a bully” or “befriend someone who sits alone and doesn’t have any friends” things like this. Or “befriend someone who is different from you”
