I was introduced to your Bible studies by one of my Sunday school teachers and I have subscribed to your emails. Last month, I was laid off and since I was born disabled, I have always struggled to find and keep employment. I have struggled with worry ever since I became a disciple of Jesus Christ as a child, and I’m not proud of it. I am thankful that you teach the Word so clearly and in a gentle way. Please keep me in your prayers; I am scared that I will be evicted from my apt because I’m still not working. I was ineligible for unemployment benefits because I worked for a non-profit organization, so this has been a difficult year so far. Thank you. Grace and peace to you.

The purpose of worry is to find a way to deal with a difficulty. A difficulty is the cause of worry. If you don't want to risk worrying, don't think of a difficulty. A synanym for difficulty is worry.
There are many Bible verses that can help stop worry. In fact, the Bible says only think of the things in Heaven and not the things on earth.
The Bible also says pray instead of worrying or being anxious. Worry is part of anxiety. Like I said, a difficulty is the cause of worry. If you don't want to risk worrying, don't think of a difficulty.
