Usually they say that because of the sunken cheeks, which is the first thing that people notice. Especially if they haven't seen you in a few weeks, while your fat percentage is dropping steadily.
it's such a double standard I've had so many girls I've dated make comments about me looking skinny at times and I'd be the asshole if I ever mentioned anything about a girls weight
The two things you here most when shredded 1.what gear are you taking?....even though you weigh less usually and 2.are you eating enough? even though your BMI still says you are overweight or above average weight for your height so I know the look he gave that reporter well
he looks phenomenal at 50 , calling a physique like that at 50 "semi decent" is laughable. there's not many people who will look and age like that natty or not
@@stevenferguson3764 what genetics he’s skinny AF. Looks like he does pushups and dieting. Better off being fatter but with more bulk muscle like Russell Crowe Gladiator same era
Dude is literally one of the most genetically blessed people ever. Great physique, nice facial features, and most importantly a hairline that won't go away.
What a lot of people don't realize is that even if they were as lean as he was in Fight Club most people still wouldn't look as good as him. The dude has a great structure, long waist, great pec-delt-trap-tricep tie ins and narrow waist and hips. It's amazing how much better people look when they're lean.
I´m pretty sure he is natural too. Anyone with that body type can look like him if not better without even working out that much. (speaking from personal experience)
@Azzeddine Aesthetics yeah same, I've been pretty muscular since I was like 12. And even if I eat like shit I still maintain a low body fat %. Guess we're lucky
@Azzeddine Aesthetics And honestly, I think calling it genetics is a cop out. If you are super disciplined, eating lean, and working out, you can achieve this. People just don't want to do it
It's Brad Pitt's face that people admire... I don't think people even realize it! I have seen countless guys with similar physiques to Brad Pitt's at any gym and nobody bats an eye because they have average or below-average facial features. Attraction starts with the face, it's the harsh truth! If you don't have an attractive face to start with, no amount of pushups or steroids is going to change that initial key to appearing attractive...
congratulations master xD, thats why i stopped making any superdiets I just eat healthy and do sports i enjoy, because If i have less than 15% bodyfat my face looks like I am dead, and as you said, it is the face people see, (and woman) my body is mostly behind a shirt xD
Nah if you lean down to like 6-9 percent body fat your face becomes more angular and same with your jawline(starts at 12 percent or lower as long as you do facial exercises) but 6-9 percent is on another level
Reminds me of a time in a lecture at university... talking about a film and the junior female lecturer called Brad Pitt 'Brad Fit.' We all chuckled kindly but the funniest part was her denying she even found him attractive... Talk about a Freudian slip lol.
As a 12 year veteran of steroids it's pretty clear to me that he's always been clean. He may have been tempted at some point, but did not want to lose that great head of hair. And like you said he's gifted in his ability to maintain lean and high-quality body. Yep, natural.
Brad Pitt seems like a guy who eats healthy, jogs regularly and always does his push ups and his pull ups. Then when he has a movie role he's already in great shape and he just needs to eat a bit more and push his muscles harder to get the same physique only larger.
I agree...sort of, but I think the fact that he hit the genetic lottery plays a pretty big role. He's admitted to addiction problems with drugs and alcohol, so that makes me believe he's spent more free time getting blitzed than focusing on his health.
@@vquoi2 He probably "works hard plays hard". He would likely be in a bit better shape if he avoided that stuff all together of course. But fitness and addiction issues aren't necessarily mutually exclusive. Sometimes I'd get so F'd up on my Friday nights that I'd sleep an entire day. It's possible that this would spike my natural growth hormone production from the extra sleep? I'd generally have to agree... For a skinny person, he actually has more muscle mass than the average person (although he could have been going to the gym, and eating a really good diet). Once you're earning millions, you can hire a dietitian, personal chef, etc... So staying in shape is a lot easier compared to the typical working stiff doing 9-to-5.

@Schwanzus Longus I'm currently 17 and 178 lbs. Roughly 14-15% body fat. So yes, it's completely achievable for me naturally with my genetics. Obviously, I feel bad for you if you won't be able to get to that point because of your genetics. We all have to do the best with what we have though, and hating on each other isn't helping anyone grow, physically or mentally. Edit: Typo

I think you are confusing whats achievable naturally with whats actually done naturally. Just because a certain physique is achievable naturally does not mean the person with said physique did it naturally.
If you think that people who uses roids is that who looks like a Coleman or Levrone you are stupid. Take roids does not mean youre big or Olympia, its just a easy way to gets and stay where you want to.

Sure it may look impressive in a movie or comic book but in terms of good health, longevity and just overall well being this is a great build. When you get bigger muscles you can get bigger problems too…
Are pointy shoulders a good thing? People always told me pictures from a beneath angle of my shoulders creep them out bc theyre so bony and sharp while my trap muscles look like they were surgically removed lol

Brad Pitts physique has always been within the realm of possible to achieve naturally and also don’t they say the camera adds ten pounds!! At 5’11 and 154 pounds I think it’s safe to say he’s natural, especially since he’s been consistent his whole life!!
Snatch he is also shredded. He's always in good shape. I remember watching Troy with my pops and he claimed that he must be on steroids. I think this is absolutely obtainable. This is their job after all.
I have a similar physique to Brad. I can vouch that from base line it really only takes a few months of purposeful time in the gym and attention to nutrition get to fight club status. For me, I just have to switch from 10 hours of cardio per week to 5 hours of cardio and 5 hours lifting.
Just have to eat enough liver. In all seriousness you can achieve that physique naturally, being that thin is a little tougher. 3 months, doesn't seem like enough time to me.
@@jeffk4643 months is even too much time for me. Id get down that lean in a month, month and a half. My metabolism is crazy, and it kind of sucks because its hard to pack on size so im stuck on looking fit but not very muscular. Im happy with that though, seeing how many people struggle with weight
@hikikomoribrah oh, at this point I definitely incorporate weighted squats, single leg romanian deadlifts, incline bench, dumbell deltoid raises, and several other weightlifting patterns (especially loading the posterior chain) into my regimen. but the overall 'standard bodybuilding' training regimen is definitely not all that sustainable, long-term, and I would much rather add it in safely 1hr 3-4x per week, and stick to mostly Calisthenics and Yoga for 1-2hrs 5-6x week in balance. I find training flexibility and mobility about 2:1 to strength and hypertrophy results in the most sustainable long-term performance for me, especially without injury.
@@morpher728 haha it mainly genetics man.. I mean Brad Pitt hasn't lived the healthiest lifestyle the guy has been an alcoholic/chain smoker for most of his life and he's always maintained decent shape.. most men who are in their 30's/40's who drink like a fish and smoke like a chimney don't look like him
I think that more than anything, is his amazingly proportional frame. His shoulder/waist ratio is amazing, and his Traps & Medial-Delts accentuate that look.
I agree, I think this is what a lot of guys miss when they say they want Brad Pitt's fight club physique. They can build the same amount of muscle and cut down to 6% body fat...but their physiques just ain't looking as good as Brad's. The shape of his muscles, his insertions and muscle bellies, etc - make him look much better than most at his stats. The left pic in the thumbnail is a good example. Muscles look fuller, pop more... and just look better, let's face it. That's why he can get away with being 155 shredded and look amazing. Most people aren't looking like that at his stats. He's just gifted aesthetically in all regards
@@m74d3 Bingo. This goes for all physiques however. There are tons of guys with massive muscles on gear who look like absolute shit Good physique= good genetics and insertions. Its the harsh truth
I have a friend of mine, a former male model and he has the "perpetually skinny" gene Pitt does. My buddy doesn't get fat, he has to work super hard to build and maintain muscle so even when he added 10lbs of muscle, because he's so lean, he looked jacked as hell. Then he stepped on the scale at 6'2" and weighed only 180. Being lean definitely makes you look larger.
I believe his physique was completely natural. He was always a fit looking guy and has great, Greek God like genetics...one of the lucky few. Lucky bastard lmao
He had a good baseline to start off with and a generally lean physique. I don't really think he trained that hard or consistently. Based on his body type he looks like he had potential to build way more muscle naturally. Also the pump and lighting in his scenes in fight club and troy create the illusion of looking more jacked
Ik it's old just wanted to agree man, I'm the same height and weight as brad but I didn't look as good as him, but I notice how bad my shoulders slouched which made me look so much smaller then what I was, so I worked on my posture with workouts and sometimes trying to manually stay in a good posture while walking or sitting. And I look ten times better then what I did all because of posture.
@@jeffrose9713 yeah you only notice aesthetic effects of good posture if you have bad posture lol! I’m in the same boat. But really and truly I don’t think being skinny is that bad a look if you have the long upright posture like Brad does. @@technodean6793 you can buy a posture belt, but most hurt your under arms. Brad probably just looked in the mirror and noticed where to keep his posture and shoulders to look normal. Look at all the pics in the early shots, he throws his shoulders back far and sticks his chest out and face up.
I'd say he's natty for sure. I think it shows that being lean with a little muscle can be very impressive than just being big. Good example was Bruce Lee. Only 135-140 at 5'7.
I've read Brad was 180 pounds for Troy. He reportedly gained 10 pounds of muscle in either 6 or 8 months depending on the contemporary source. I haven't found a source I trust for Fight Club, but Brad gave his own weight as 159 pounds back in 1987 when he was 23-24.
I'm just relaying the info I could find so people can draw their own conclusion. His weight depends on how tall he really is. He gave his height as 5'11" in that same interview which usually means more like 5'10", but maybe he's the exception. There's a 1987 photoshoot that comes up when you search "Brad Pitt 1987" for anyone else interested in what he looked like when he was at least claiming to be 5'11" and 159 pounds at 23-24 though I imagine he was more or less the same weight give or take a few pounds as he was in the still Derek used of Pitt aged 25.
@@steffen2165 He's 5'11'', that height and that much muscle even if its lean asf is still pretty heavy. 159 is completely reasonable and I know this because thats about my height and weight
I don't think Brad needed to take performance enhancers for his roles. I would be very skeptical about the report of gaining 10 pounds of muscle mass in 6 months. This is not an obtainable goal for 99.9% of people. Closer to 5 pounds in 6 months, ok. More than that and its either not muscle (water, fat) or its performance enhancers. I would guess the report was just a bit exaggerated for impact.
@@steffen2165 I find 135-140 harder to believe. When I was running cross country in college and peak fitness I was 5’9” and weighed 135lbs. I think it’s hard to really tell someone’s weight by looks alone but you can make educated guesses and pull from other information to get a ball park.
He seems to have slowly worked on his arms, triceps, and a bit of shoulder, chest in between FC and Troy. I admire the guy, as he likely has no roid cycles to speak off. Good genetics, a good diet, and some good personal training. Full credit to the lad.
@Deep Inside He was literally under 15% body fat in that movie, did you even watch it? Unless it was CGI, he had deep ab cuts. He certainly looks better than you would with double the training at half his age.
Brad Pit is so inspiring to me, I am 38 and have just started my fitness journey in the gym, I am also 5/11 hight, to see him in Troy and in Once upon a time in Hollywood,, I want to have a body like that for rest of my life!
I feel the same. I'm 35 now, been lifting for about 8 years but taking it seriously with programming and nutrition for about 3 years. I said after walking out of Once Upon A Time that I want to look that good in my 50s.
I have basically the same physical genetics and body composition as Brad and can confirm everything you’ve said is accurate. It can be frustrating at times because it’s so hard to put on mass (and people often ask if I’m eating enough) but I must admit it’s pretty cool to stay lean all the time.
Same here, albeit smaller. Great being able to eat what ever you want and maintain like 6% body fat though 😂. And if you ever put on a bit, month in the gym and it's back down to looking like that
definitely has its benefits. just sucks not being able to put on the mass we’d like to without eating excessively (which often requires force feeding myself because im naturally just not that hungry throughout the day)
Same. My grandmother was a ballet dancer, and I was the only one in the family that inherited her lean physique. I've basically had a six-pack my whole life, even in periods where I've gotten sloppy with diet and training. The tradeoff is I'm somewhat a perma-twink and it's very hard to put on mass esp. as a full natty. In periods where I do pack on mass, it doesn't usually last long, and reverts to the lean brad-pitt esque physique.
Lets face it - Brad Pitt is just gorgeous from head to foot. Pictures of him as a little boy are no different. He always had a great face, a great smile, great hair. Naturally lean, with abody that responds quickly to training. I tell my wife that I have a body alot like Brad Pitt- two arms, two legs, a head. Haha.

THANK you. I was built like Fight Club Brad in my 20's and 30's. Completely natural because I was a workout fiend and had good genes. I mean, even when I backed off of working out, I still had a physique that friends and relatives complimented. Seriously. I don't understand why people make such a big deal of things like this. We exist on a range of possible body types.
My friend trained for 5 year with me and stopped and years after that he still looks about the same. Naturally gained muscle is hard to lose if you continue eating and not starving yourself
forgot snatch. my favorite pitt physique. and it should be obvious to anyone who works out that he's always been natural. which is good news because it's very attainable and it shows you don't need to look insane jacked *and* shredded to have an attractive physique. just steady progression and consistency, and a diet that's on point. that last part is essential for aging well. the goal isn't just to look great now but to look great in your 40s and 50s and beyond.
I honestly don't think Brad ever took gear to achieve the look he was going for in the movies where it was featured. Genetics, diet, working out and discipline.
It is really refreshing seeing these videos. You should know that you are truly helping young men with their confidence and helping them adjust their view on what having a natural body truly means and looks like. Respect bro.
Yeah this is totally achievable with diet and exercise. I looked like this in 2016 . I was drinking kefir, eating nuts, not al lot of bread, a lot of steamed meats and veggies. For exercise, i usually swam about 30 minutes in the morning and either did yoga sculpt for 45 mins in the evening, a circuit of weights 45 or swam again for 30-45 mins; usually i did yoga sculpt. To be fair, over the years ive played tennis or swam, so i maintain an athletic physique year round.
I am just starting to lift for the first time as a 30y/o male sitting at 147, 5'11 and this is my goal. Very high metabolism with a picky appetite. Any advice when it comes to keeping up with calorie intake? It is hard for me to consistently put down 4k plus calories a day because of my work schedule. I travel and sometimes for up to a week at a time, and after just a week of being off a strict diet it seems like I lose weeks worth of progression. It is pretty discouraging. I get up to 150 then hit a block each time, just can't seem to hit 155 even with cutting out all cardio.

Brad certainly has fantastic genetics. Look at his hair, his face and body. Everything is so natural and still he looks amazing. Even the pitch of his voice is attractive. No wonder he was voted the sexiest man twice. And don`t forget how humble his personality is. I love this man.
I’ve kinda thought that fight club brad is essentially the physique most people could go for if they want to get fit and eat better but not spend all their time in the gym
He doesnt need bulk. He looks light, fast, with no bulk or weight to hinder him. He probably still has more stamina than most men at his age. I would love to put on my shoes without straining, or climb some stairs without losing my breath. His ability to stay lean is so damn cool.
bulking actually helps that as you are building muscle, its funny but even though you add fat (if you are lean) you get stronger up hills as quads and hammies grow
Brad Pitt actually has the body type everybody had until WW2. I mean until Fight Club. He looks exactly like a soldier with his shirt off hanging out in the pacific theatre working an airfield or loading a nuke onto a B29 (go look up the actual footage). And those guys were the most well fed of any army of the day. It‘s our modern diet since then with all the processed food that makes us all watery and bloated from our teens on…
Definitely natural. For me, it was diet. Specifically, I had to go gluten free when I found out I had celiac disease at 29. Crazy difference. I dropped 25 lbs of water retention and fat. I eventually cut out cow dairy and sucrose (cane/beet sugar). I’m 47 now. My walk around weight is 167 at 5’9”. If I cut, I can drop to 160ish and look like Pitt in Fight Club. Once I nailed down my diet, specifically avoiding bad for me foods, calories in/out worked. Before, when certain foods were screwing up my system, calories in/out didn’t make a difference. Pitt said he goes grain free to prepare for a role.
This guy gave a very clear, precise, professional explanation. I would believe him. Brad ALWAYS goes the extra mile for his roles...which is WHY he is a LEGITIMATE STAR. It is well deserved. Consistency in life, LONG TERM...is everything. Kudos to him...
Honestly for fight club it looks like he just added a little more muscle to his chest and arms to appear a bit bigger, compared to Thelma and Louise, where his arms are what makes it clear that he isn't working out. And for Troy he added a bit more to his upper body, not insane amounts, just a little more.
His form in "Once Upon A Time In Hollywood" being 55 y.o. is out of this world. I mean, being that ripped in your 20-30s is great (more than 90% men have) but at 40+ let alone almost 60 is insane! Don't forget, the guy looks like 20 years younger too! I know, genetics, gym, dieting, clever grooming, hair styling etc. but still!
Video suggestion. Edward Norton on American History X and did he take steroids? I think not but it would be a good topic. I remember that he has said that he was just eating protein shakes etc and gained 30 pounds for the role.
Norton didn't even look that big in AHX. He just looked a lot bigger relative to what he usually is. Norton said himself in an interview they used all kinds of tricks to make him look bigger - flattering angles, good lighting, casting people who were smaller than him in scenes, etc.
@@starwarsroo2448 I agree. He doesn't even look that much bigger in that movie. I'd say that it's very much achievable in 6 months with a simple full body program with extra focus on the shoulders, and a low carb diet.
@@MrClassicmetal he young in that too, maybe about 30 tops, just doing the press ups alone I could get bigger than that now and I'm nearly 40. He just looks a bit tougher and not as snappy , absolutely no chance it's taking shit for that movie
I think people often confuse being ripped with being on steroids. When I was younger I walked around with a six pack all the time. Since I've gotten older it's been much more difficult but I've leaned down to that same body composition I had when I was younger a few times with a lot of dedicated work. Realistically he looks to have about the same body mass in fight club as he does in Troy but in Troy it looks like he's holding a little bit more water and therefore providing a little bit more visual size on camera. I think he's 100% natural.
My friend who was super skinny hit the gym for half a year and ended up looking like that. When wearing a T-Shirt he looked like he didn't work out. He was just a lean endomorph with a bit of that beginner's muscle. It's funny because then he stopped working out for 2 months and lost all his gains. Trust me, people who have this physique don't look like they lift at all with clothes on.
It's definitely genetics, cause it's well known that he was a heavy drinker and even had drinking problems throughout his life. If you are a drinker you know how hard it is to maintain low body fat while having beers during the weekend. This dude achieved it for years like it was no big deal.
Maybe his drink of choice wasn't beer. Cause I could vouch for this. I drank a lot last year but stayed pretty lean cause I hate beer, it tastes like nothing.
My goal when I first started working out was Brad Pitt's body in fight club (probably like most people's goal back then), but I later on decided to add more muscle because I wasn't comfortable. I almost felt underweight from time to time which I don't like at all, but the Troy body.. oh man. But he's without a doubt natty, no question about it.
The problem with those guys is their nutrition. If that's not on point then you're not achieving fight club mode. I know because that's my exact problem. Lifting for years, but only a small portion of my calories is from healthy foods.
@Gains ed it’s cuz you can’t be this lean year round(natty), it’s physically, mentally, and hormonally draining to be in such a deficit, and actually A LOT of ppl pass Brad’s physique(terms of muscle mass) within a year of lifting heavy, and in a surplus. The trick w Tyler Durden’s physique isn’t the size, it’s the level of leanness. Plus this is also Hollywood we’re talking, they have amazing lighting, and other tricks to make someone look more impressive.
Gains ed .. ha, yep... people always say, “anybody can look like him in Fight Club”, yet, im 46 years old, been a member of multiple gyms along the way for my entire life and i have never seen anyone, in person, at the gym or anywhere else, look even remotely like him...
My husband and his sisters are like that. He had a motobike accident few years ago and was lying in bed like 3 months and then little movement for one year and gain 0 weight🙈 he is always around 175-180 lbs and 6' and currently 36 year old.
I'm curious what Brads "feats of strength" are at these physique levels (Troy not included) I'm guessing he's a pretty quick sprinter, good at calesthenics, some acrobatics, but probably not benching above 195lbs.
True, I got the same build and I can lift max 190lbs bench, I’m super agile that’s the only plus side, it’s nice to walk around with but if you want more strength you’d need to eat more
I'm an amateur fighter competing at weight classes between 147 and 155. At 5'10 I EASILY get my body looking like the fight club Brad, and walk around at Troy brad (maybe a little bit less bulk) when I'm not in fight camp at between 165-170lbs. I don't understand how people think this is a body achieved with steroids. Genetics play in, but for this type of body I feel like you are 100% right that diet and dedication to training or the keys.
I’ve always been surprised with the obsession with his physique in Fight Club as well. I think he looks decent but nothing that special. Then again, it might be due to how much puffier and more bloated the average guy looks these days. I think it represents what we all know appeals to the majority of women, just good looking enough for them to enjoy but not super special in anyway that might detract from them getting the majority of the compliments and attention. The Troy-physique on the other hand always impressed me. I feel like it hits the sweet spot, almost perfectly balance. Something you could see being functional and strong in athletic endeavors, while still carrying some meat on your frame.
@Da Boss hard to explain exactly but I’ll try. It’s just a look I see in young men especially, compared to our dads and granddads. If you take a look at pictures of them when they were the same age as us, especially when they’re with friends, they just seem to be much leaner, dryer, more defined and bright on average. It’s like there’s a weird layer of fat or water that seems to be over everyone now. I can’t help but notice a difference in the appearance of people on average now, versus seeing movies/shows, and advertisements. People had more definition, angularity and just looked sharper and more defined in general. Even men who lift today sometimes still have the same issue, just not to the same degree. It’s like there’s something vastly different about our food/water, hormones, and lifestyle that contributes to producing softer, rounder, less defined features.
@@Firefalcon88 it's our diet mate and also men's testosterone levels are dropping a lot and hence that might contribute to the puffiness you describe. I've noticed that in a lot of guys as well which is why I'm taking care of my diet from a young age itself lol
One of the best physiques in the Hollywood or any other film industries. And also one of the most desirable physiques for majority of people around the world. Brad Pitt is blessed with amazing genetics, facial structure and body stature and also with the low body fat percentage. Not everyone can achieve what he has achieved unless they are blessed. Brad Pitt is exceptional that's why we're talking about him. If he were as we are, he wouldn't be there.

that is a very very moronic thing to say...steroids have nothing to do with hair loss....if you ever seen lou ferigno these days, he's always had a full head of hair, yet he did steroids for years and years...hair loss is 100% determined by genetics...

@@jimmorrison5832 that is a stupid comment, most men experience hair loss at some point throughout their lives even if it’s minimal. The examples of people that didn’t experience hair loss just have very good genetics which is obviously very rare

So final verdict: Absolutely undoubtebly natural A video i did not expect to even really exist
@@willfree3435 Not convincing to me; you could say that Brad Pitt has the same physique in all his movies but different body fat. Has no point. And in Snatch you got a lot of muscular details that you had not in other films.
Snatch is his best physique in my opinion. Very similar body fat to fight club but with with bigger shoulders and arms. Perfect blend of shredded and size.
I've looked like this all my life, from 19yrs to into my early 40's now. 6'2" 185-200lbs, low body fat. In HS I could do 70+ pull-ups/chin-ups with no training. Just blessed I guess...
I got wide shoulders/ thin waist like him, and. Skinny too and I have had pro bodybuilders tell me I got perfect genetics to compete but never understood until now.
Brad has the greatest ever shiny/ripped physique with amazing muscle proportions. Like you said, he’s very, very lean. No one of his age could achieve a better physique than Troy.
It always cracks me up when I hear someone say (usually a man) that a certain actor, such as Brad Pitt or Shemar Moore, aren't that good looking. I always tell them that when you deny something so self evident it makes you look even more jealous. He won the lottery at birth and he's followed his path. He works hard and is obviously dedicated to a very healty lifestyle. Give credit where credit is due.
I think you pretty much on target. Except for body fat %. It's not as low as you think. It's rare and hard to get under 10. At his best he could be around 8 and has or had the genetics to stay 10 to 12. I'm sure he also has followed some kind of controlled nutrition and workout plan, because of the biz he's in and the roles he takes.
That’s why gym made my psychology go up and made me feel the king of the world,I could be at 7-8% body fat with hard training 6 times per week and just eat more protein, don’t care for carbohydrates and fat...now,20 pounds higher I am at about 12-13% body fat but with no hard training 3 times per week...
He always had an atheltic physique, way before Fight Club. Very lean but well built. It was just a matter of putting on 5 kg of muscles in the course of a year (and then a couple more for Snatch, in the same amount of time).

He could easily pull off the role of a teenager when he was in his late 20's/early 30's
I couldn't believe it when he said he was 36 in fight club. He looks in his late 20s to early 30s max in that movie

The kind of guy who went to the barbershop but got his haircut wrong and still looking fine af.

forgot snatch. my favorite pitt physique. and it should be obvious to anyone who works out that he's always been natural. which is good news because it's very attainable and it shows you don't need to look insane jacked *and* shredded to have an attractive physique. just steady progression and consistency, and a diet that's on point. that last part is essential for aging well. the goal isn't just to look great now but to look great in your 40s and 50s and beyond.
I remember thinking he was YOKED in Troy. Definitely impressive but not huge. It’s all about his structure.

I’ve kinda thought that fight club brad is essentially the physique most people could go for if they want to get fit and eat better but not spend all their time in the gym
Yes just some bodyfat management and minimum calisfthenic basics would do
part of the character was not to look like a gym guy but to look more like a lean guy that does roofing for a living in the deep south.
In my military days 8 count body builders, pull ups 5 mile runs, 2 mile swims and standard push ups you could get a body like that.
It‘s our modern diet since then with all the processed food that makes us all watery and bloated from our teens on…
Exactly
Prove it dork
Pitt said he goes grain free to prepare for a role.
can you go more into detail? I'm considering dropping gluten entirely as well.
"I can....look like Pitt in Fight Club." Can you, though? :) That aside, they all sound like good changes which worked for you.

Just looked like he did loads of push ups and pull ups, maybe some compound movements, probably not though
@@starwarsroo2448 I agree. He doesn't even look that much bigger in that movie. I'd say that it's very much achievable in 6 months with a simple full body program with extra focus on the shoulders, and a low carb diet.

Trust me, people who have this physique don't look like they lift at all with clothes on.
very true
agree they are small
Dudes go to the gym for years and still cant achieve fight Club brad mode
The problem with those guys is their nutrition. If that's not on point then you're not achieving fight club mode. I know because that's my exact problem. Lifting for years, but only a small portion of my calories is from healthy foods.
@@vquoi2 I agree. Plus he's got good genetics to begin with. Just shows that being lean can be very impressive without being huge.
More Adderall
He looks like you typical ectomorph that has been lifting for some time and stays lean with ease.
True, I got the same build and I can lift max 190lbs bench, I’m super agile that’s the only plus side, it’s nice to walk around with but if you want more strength you’d need to eat more
His body in Troy is still my dream goal till this day
Same. It's clearly perfect in every way
His body in Snatch is OP in my opinion
@Da Boss truth spoken brother
@@jimmorrison5832 that is a stupid comment, most men experience hair loss at some point throughout their lives even if it’s minimal. If they are genetically pre disposed to losing their hair then steroids will speed up the process and make it noticeable (e.g. u will be bald at 30 rather than at 50). The examples of people that didn’t experience hair loss just have very good genetics which is obviously very rare
I recently got a physical at 34 years old. Ive always been really lean, through my twenties stayed around 155. Lifted on and off, couldnt pick up more than 4 or 5 lbs but was always lean.
