Merci, merci, merci!!! I was JUST about to look into getting Le Petit Prince... but I was worried that the words/tenses wouldn't be ones that get spoken! I saw you notice the top 1000 words, there is a book I have from Dylane Moreau, 1000 Most Common French Words, and also word families! I recommend those too. Merci once more!
De rien ! So glad this helped you Bree. Appreciate your comment :D learning 1000 most common words in a language is definitely a smart way to learn. That book from Dylane Moreau you recommended sounds intriguing as well. Will definitely check it out 👍
Hi, I'm happy to see that this book has been honestly working for others, too. I have just come to the end of my course, French beginners - A1. I got this book two days ago. So far, I have read the first chapter, and I love the content and the structure of the material in it. Your video popped up on my screen, and I was excited to hear what yet another person had to share about it. Having read just one chapter, I totally agree with what you have to say about it. It's also very helpful that there is an audiobook edition available. It's a great listening exercise. I am feeling very optimistic about this investment. Loving it.
Dude i live in France now since 3 years and i speak very well french but the harder thing in this language is to remember the new words and using it ... This was the hardest part in my journey... But i'm still struggling with it (by the way... I'm in highschool... But still even with practicing the language everyday it's hard to remember and use the new words) Good Luck in (ta journée 🍀)
Thats so cool! living in the country of the target language is just heaven-sent! I echo with the remembering new words part, definitely a challenge. Have you tried anki? Its a great flashcard app to use to add words you feel are important in your daily convos. Bonne chance aussi dans ta journée mon ami ! Always a pleasure to hear input from a fellow language learner 🙌
@@faizfoad1771 Thanks I'll try the app ... And i learned English from videos games and movies... Try to watch Netflix in french (it's so boring) but it's the fastest way to get new words
@@desertjesters wow english through video games. You sir just hacked language learning. 👏 but dang those French shows like Lupin really be show stopping! Do subscribe to follow this beginner ass journey maybe it will help in some relatable way 🔥💯

Most welcome!
What surprised me most about Olly Richards’ books is that you actually want to keep reading to finish the stories and find out what happens
I second that! They do catch you with some hooks and cliffhangers 😆
Good sharing
Thanks for the comment abang !
