    INGREDIENTS NEEDED:
    3 cups buckwheat
one cups sunflower seeds (or any nuts/seeds of choice)
1 cup date paste (approz 20 -25 dates) ... I also forget to mention in the video I like to sometimes add a bit of green leave organic stevia powder for some extra sweetness!
    1 grated apple
    handful of organic dried cranberries
    orange oil
Cinnamon, vanilla, pinch of himalayan salt
** if you don't have dehydrator then you can try baking it in the oven at the lowest temperature!! **
    CUSTOMIZE YOUR GRANOLA!!
I make many variations of this granola using different flavours. Use your imagination and come up with a variety of amazing flavour combinations :)
DEHYDRATOR USED : excalibur 9 tray bought from

Delicious recipe! I've recently started eating grains and pseudograins like buckwheat again, and have started sprouting this week, too. It's so much fun! I'm totally going to try this granola soon.

Yummm that looks so good! I've been wanting to try sprouting more, this would be a great recipe to try. I don't have a dehydrator, but I've been thinking of investing in one. Do you use it often, and what are your favorite things to make with it?

I would totally recommend a dehydrator!! It's worth it for kale chips alone haha. Kale chips, raw granolas, raw crackers etc.. are SO overpriced at the store. I can buy a little bag of kale chips at the store for $7 or make a WHOLE dehydrator full for the same price and put all the seasoning on I want :D Mine has DEFINITELY paid off!

But just wanted to ask you, what do I do if I don't have a dehydrator please? Can I eat it as is? I'm sure it will lose all its properties if I put it in the Oven. Thanks in advance.

This looks delicious!! I don't have a dehydrator, but I saw your reply to someone Elsa's comment that you can try dehydrating the granola in the oven on the lowest temperature. Would that work with berries too? Dried berries without added sugar are so hard to find where I live, so if I could dry the berries myself that'd be great!

You can put the buckwheat into a large cloth..bring the ends of the cloth together and tie it with a thread..then wet the whole bundle with water and place it in a large vessel. U can keep this for a day or 2. It will sprout faster.

    • @oakyafterbirth2801
      @oakyafterbirth2801 7 ปีที่แล้ว

Paloma Spat A dehydrator removes the moisture from food so making this recipe in the oven will most likely not yield the same results. I suggest looking up vegan granola recipes that you can make in the oven! 😊

No worries, just been looking at the comments, and you told someone to put their oven on as low as it can go, and leave it for a few hours, so I shall do the same. Thank you! Also someone else said that you helped clear up her acne. I have had acne on my upper back, and arms practically all my life (4 decades plus), but everyone always comments on how beautiful the skin on my face is. What can I do about my back please? I have NO idea what's causing it, and I eat pretty clean. I love Summer, but every time it comes around I dread it, because I can't wear what I want to wear. I really hope you can help me with this. Thanks in advance anyway.
