In all honesty, it is a SUPER fun game BUT with several balance issues. I think it's worth a $1 pledge to get to the PM and wait to see if they make any improvements between now and then.
@@stephenwyda2568 Definitely the Vikings. Very lack luster. They don't really affect the game in any significant way other than maybe a battle or two. Also resources are so difficult to come by, you're forced to use a Collection action 50% of the first 6 seasons. (there are only 4 actions total). The Kingdom tiles also feel necessary to stay relevant in the game, instead of feeling like just upgrades. That's just a few but there are several more issues we're hoping to get addressed through additional play testing.
@@Faent89 thanks for elaborating and I hope you are able to get those things adjusted through additional game play and input with the developers. Overall I like the game a lot and the things you mentioned don't necessarily make it an unbalanced game in my opinion but are simply things that can be improved upon. Looking forward to getting this one to the table!
It looks like a beautiful game, and I like the theme, but my biggest concern is how easy it is to 'lose' information with such a busy board. Whether that is the cardboard tokens or text.
I wouldn't call the gameplay innovative and revolutionary. On the other hand, why reinventing the wheel? Since the game designer and artist is the same person, the game is more of an art project to me. And I adore the way it looks! Definitely getting a copy when I have the chance.
I'm getting tired of board games that cost $100-$200 dollars. I've got a few games on my radar and every one is so expensive I can only see investing in one and that's not including those that will wind up having lots of expansions. I'll have to live by the motto of less is more.🙄
I wish we could get an unpaid take on this game. I want to know if it’s a good game and worth backing for the quality of the gaming experience

@@Faent89 what are the balance issues that you see?

An unpaid take on it won't come out untill review copies go out but they will come

This game looks amazing!!! I like everything about it.

Visuals are great ... not sure about battle. Review doesn't also explain it well. How many dice ? Different dice for different types ? Etc
The visuals are stunning and thematic, although the text is a bit hard to read
It's an interesting choice to make the victory point tokens being collected to win this game about warrior-kings...ladies' brooches.
$90?
No.
