I love the artwork inside the Pokémon TCG Holiday Calendar, and I’m impressed that Riolu is in it, because that adorable warrior puppy is one of my all time favorite Pokémon alongside Dragonite, Talonflame, Mienshao, Oshawott, and Jolteon!

It was fun watching someone else do these advent calendars since my brother and I did a variation of all of them except the pop up one last year. But yes, advent calenders take a stupid long time. It's why I hate that my family hoards them. They take literally hours.

Hi Dani, being very Planet conscious particularly when it comes to the excessive waste in toy Packaging I was very impressed with the Christmas tree Advent with the cardboard decorations. I agree it was very artistically pleasing and I can see it being very enjoyable taking out one decoration a day and hanging it on the tree. A very relaxed to the Christmas season. I can see being able to put each decoration back into its little slot folding it up and bringing it out again next year to display. Well done. Absolutely no waste. I'm back, the Funko Pop mini figures were amazing. BTW your a riot Dan.
I love the Jazzwares colander I was not expecting the lights and sound to be part of the background; and the classic pop up calendar. I need the TCG one though as I got the other 2 from past years. I also have the funko pop calendar as well as the previous one they made, both sealed.
1. You get a really good selection of items, but the falling in the other pockets thing is a bit annoying. It has really nice artwork that is super detailed, but a major negative for this one is that you have to destroy the artwork in order to get the goodies. 2. This one is amazing. It has a great selection of items you get through windows you open, so nothing is destroyed. It comes with its own background set that lights up and plays music! You can arrange everything you get however you want, and there is so much room to add more things of your own and build this up as much as you want. This is something I would have loved when I was little. I could really see me and my dad having a blast making our own additions. Kids can really use their imaginations with this. I would still enjoy this today! 3. The set is nice, but it can't compare with 2. I would still enjoy 2 today, while I think I would find putting 3 together a little tedious. Maybe not as much when I was little, though. Even though it should have come with more Pokemon related items and there might be one missing, the holiday themed items were really fun and look really nicely built with those moving parts as you mentioned. 4. Even though it was really basic as far as what you get everyday, it was still fun. It has great artwork that is not destroyed as the windows can be resealed and the ornaments put back in their places. This one is really good with optimizing storage space because everything, including that fabulous pop up tree, just folds neatly into the size of a book you can put on your shelf, then bring back out every year. 5. considering that pop up calendar is like 60 bucks at my walmart and all you get is paper ornaments.... (plus one metal one) thats pretty bad. are the other ones worth the prices? i dont know what all these things cost to begin with.
I know I'm so late on this one, but the Mega Bloks Advent Calendar is so disappointing. As someone that actually collects Pokemon Mega Bloks, the advent calendar gives me nothing I don't already have besides the Santa hat. Pikachu and Eevee are two of the most common pokémon for Mega Bloks. It's a bummer because there's a lot of stage 1 pokémon that we don't have yet in Mega Blok form. It would be really easy for them to give us some ice types. We haven't even gotten Delibird yet! It's disappointing because I really like the displayability of the Mega Bloks Pokemon sets and I have an entire shelf in my house taken up with it. It's something that's really easy to add on to since they release a bunch of Pokeballs with Pokemon in them every year, as well as one to five sets that all connect. Hopefully next year's Advent Calendar is actually worth getting. Thanks for doing this! I think next year I'm going to try to get the Funko calendar early.

I got the funko pop one for last year so may get the funko one when it goes on sale at gamestop as some of those would be so great to add to my collection. Just gotta say though that was Pidgeotto not Pidgeot.
I bought the pokemon tgc calendar and I have had terrible luck with it. So far, some cards were bent a bit in the corners and then in one of regular booster pack, I got a great tusk ex and a full art klawf, just to find out that klawf was crumpled up while every other card was perfectly fine. Why did the good cards have to be ruined? And last year I got the deluxe pop up set. I wish I could find that one but I got the regular one and it was in a different language

I got the pop up calendar for $38, the perk of that one is that it’s reusable, so it’s paper ornaments but you can have it for multiple years
