      I really like that when flying the H145 in MSFS20 I’m able to use almost all the buttons in their real positions in the controls. It really gives me the immerson of real flying. I just got myself Oculus Rift S VR’s and fighting to get it run aa smoothly as possible with my gaming laptop. Flying with VR is the most close to the real helicopter as it can get in home sim. If I only had the money to by a proper power PC to run it smoothly…

      @@GoosebumpRacing I think I can't give very useful answer because I don't have any proper controls.. just the cheapest Hama-joystick in the market :D But If you put the realism setting from the H135 tablet (attached to the front panel) to highest, I think you can get some kind of picture. I don't know if the H145 has this kind of steps of realism to choose from..? And by the way.. Thanks for the video and insight into their actions. It is their daily business and it is also true that a pilot is well trained. However, I'm still wondering whether you can't automate the start order and cooldown phase with all the actions shown in the video using an additional computer that monitors everything during the start process, turns it on and also turns it off if necessary. You could start and stop the helicopter like a car. The pilot can then concentrate more on the safety check and calibration of his instruments and then does not forget any switch in the take-off phase.

    • @msinerva80
      @msinerva80  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks for the feedback 🙏🏼😊 This simple and grainy video I made during my short flight from a platform to the ground has gathered suprisingly much views comparing to all the other videos. If you wish, please check my other videos where I use my home simulator like the real helicopter, and explain all the procedures during startup, takeoff, landing and shutdown.
      This H145 startup procedure is actually very simple and moder way of start a turbine aircraft, compared to many others. The smaller EC135-version without Helionix is more manual when it comes for example malfunctions, like hot start or hang start during ignition. H145’s system automatically makes the restart after hang start, and aborts startup in case of hot start.
      Perhaps in the future there is possibility just to ignite the whole system with a button 😊 But I’d be a bit scared to start such a helicopter because you have to be all the time aware of the system and ready to abort what you are doing.
      And many of the overhead panel switches are separately considered to switch on or leaving off so automatic all on -action would be a bit hard to make happen.

Auto trim is switched off when for example doing a landing on sloping terrain, so that the trim doesn’t try to counter act to the attempts to hold the helicopter on it’s skids.

      Yes, the Insta360 One R -camera has some limitations when capturing the 360-video in this kind of lighting situations. But with the better 1” module I could not have been able to do the panning.
      Let’s see if I’ll get the chance to do more explanating version some day. This one was just captured while moving the helicopter from the platform for the technicians :) We are not allowed to do much extra manouvers with the tax payers money.

      You mean what? 😅 It’s cold up here in the winter time. And many people know what happens with the nose when it’s freezing.

      Yes.. captured with a really good quality 360-camera which however has it’s downsides. When digizooming, the quality really drops and dark areas are quite grainy. But advantages are for example flexible possibilities to crop into variable details in edit.
      You can check my newst video where I do the start-up using our checklist in MSFS20 and with same H145 helicopter. There is also really accurately shown how to fly HEMS in flightsimulator with checklists and different procedures.
