    This is an amazing video!!! I am an aicraft mechanic myself and I realy love these kind of videos because of that! But I also really really really like/love the H145D3!!!🥰 So this is an amazing video for me! Also I love the Airbus facility in Donauwörth!😍
    I hope there will be a cockpit video also!! Or maybe groundrun/testflight video👌🏻

      Thanks for watching and making comments! We appreciate the kind words and will certainly continue to produce similar content.
      Later this year we will be releasing a companion video for the H135.
      And yes, we have discussed making additional specialized videos as you recommended.
      Thanks again!

      Absolutely! I fly the 117-C2 and the 135T/P2, so it’s interesting to see the upgrades and any differences

    Great walkthrough, you only missed the top cable cutter but it's a minor error in an almost one hour video, stay safe!

      I believe I did speak about the top cutter between 10:00 and 10:10 in the video. But perhaps I did a poor job of highlighting it as it was not memorable to you?
      Thanks again for watching!

      Oh my God sorry I stand corrected and apologize, it was exactly the 10 seconds my wife turned the on screen menu on (graphic overlay and mute) that masked it, again great job! Would love to see a detailed pre flight check and cold cockpit startup like this, since my son is getting a CPL-H right now and wants to get into EMS, although the hospital where he knows he'll probably end up still uses the old 145, the one without fenestron to be clear, but I guess the avionics are pretty similar, no?

    As a mechanic and pilot, every preflight I do I look at things way too closely. Every preflight I did on R22s and R44s felt like I was doing a 100hr inspection.

    What a great video on what looks like a really well engineered chopper, been an awful long time since i carried out a BF on a helicopter, brought back heart worthwhile memories.👍👍👍

      Thank you for watching, and your kind words. The 145 is indeed a fantastic aircraft. I've had the fortune to have flown the A3's, A4's, B1's, B2's, C1's, C2's, and D2's...each model is an improvement over the previous...and they were all wonderful!

    This is INCREDIBLE!!!!! I can not thank you enough for doing this!! the 145 D3 is my favorite helicopter. Any chance of doing a vid like this for the H175 and H160?

    • @brucewebb5061
      @brucewebb5061  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you for the kind words...I love the D3 as well!
      We will be releasing a similar video (already filmed) for the H135 this November. Based upon the reception of the original H125, and now H145 videos we believe it likely that we will continue to produce similar videos for other models. The H160 and H175 are certainly likely candidates.
      Thanks for watching and making comment!

      There is an internal pre start checklist. However, we only covered the external portion of the preflight.

    Before plugging in the EPU, it is a good idea to check if the battery is connected. And I would not turn the fenestron at the blades but rather turn the hub.

    • @brucewebb5061
      @brucewebb5061  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for watching and taking your time to comment!
      You are 100% correct about the battery. In the video, within the captioned area on the bottom right, you will see that we specify to have the battery connected.
      Regarding the turning of the Fenestron. While there are many who believe (may have even been told) that you may not rotate the Fenestron with the blades…this is 100% incorrect. You MAY absolutely rotate the Fenestron with the Fenestron blades. We conducted extensive research into this false belief about rotating with the blades, and can report unequivocally that this is poor guidance. In fact, when we witness people doing it with the hub, they are often gripping the rotor fairing (hub cap) which is absolutely incorrect as well.
      But I absolutely love your attention to detail!
      Best Regards,
      Bruce
