    For the incident, honestly, as long as the other driver makes the corner and leaves you enough space on the corner exit (it seems he would be able to do it) it's fine to divebomb. So a racing incident in my book, you both went for the same space and neither of you did anything illegal.
    I'm surprised you didn't defend it more, especially as it was last lap, he surely was gonna go for a move somewhere and there were no positions you could gain.

    Lost my A license this week at the Ring, literally in one race 4 people hit me from behind. 3x at turn 2 once at turn 3 and I had one off track so the swipe on turn 3 DQ’d me. But I still gained 200 iRating this week so I’m up to 1803 IR from a low of 900 three weeks ago when I first noticed iRating was a thing. I only paid attention to SR when I first started on the sim 3 months ago. Love your videos, I really appreciate your race craft. Wish we could have more racers that you could race close with and not worry about them understeering, oversteering or just drifting into you on the straights.

      You can see he had a moment with the rear and that put him off line, marcel left more than enough space anyways, the other driver didnt use it.

      @@needo8520he would have made the corner with no problem. It looked like he even would have left space. He was getting plenty of rotation until Marcel hit him and stopped that rotation.

    mate, u really need some self-reflection. If you look closely, you see he would make the corner and be ahead of the apex. You decided to turn in. You should therefore accept the consequences.

  • @John-ok8ts

    From your onboard it looked 100% on him but from the replay it looked like he understeered because you turned in on him when he was significantly ahead and on the curb.

    Don't get it why you don't qualify? Imagine the race you could have had with people on the same pace. And btw Ole was ahead at the apex and also on the curb. Not much more space he could have given you. Imo it´s actually you that turns into him. Yes, he would have to give you space on the exit, but he never got that far.

  • @petke911

    I think its a typical racing incident, HOWEVER it is not smart to not defend on the last proper overtaking opportunity on the last lap. You could have left him more space, the guy could have hugged the apex more. Its just how it is, but it could have been avoided if you defended more agressivley on the entry and less on the apex. But I also understand that this corner is almost always better for the outside car, since you will be on the inside for T6. But if you opt for the ouside line and a better exit you should leave him more room, considering these drivers arent top level, and they can missjudge a corner especially when they divebomb.

    • @Carson0576
      @Carson0576 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Well it depends on how you define top drivers, cuz the guy who divebomed is a 4.9K driver
      Easily Top 1-2%

    • @petke911
      @petke911 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@Carson0576 Sure, and it was a reasonable move, but I think if you divebomb you have to hug the apex. This reminds me so much of Abu dhabi 2021 its almost the exact same scenario Marcel just didnt avoid the guy diving. And those guys should be top of the top guys so idk.

  • @s1xt634
    @s1xt634 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

    Bro he is literally beside u on the apex, was the move overly aggressive? Yes, was it also fair? yes, he pulled a verstappen on you and u just let it happen. If i saw him dive on the inside im already loosing the breaking and trynna get a swicth back.

    Hate to say but it was your fault 😬

    • @Carson0576
      @Carson0576 วันที่ผ่านมา

      If someone is having a fault
      It will not be Marcel’s
      It’s ole’s fault for having bad racecraft, look at the space between ole and Marcel, when he divebombed. With the terrible line he is taking basically just a “you yield or we crash” move. If anything the guy on the inside line could’ve made the chance of having a crash significantly lower.
      Of course if we are talking about the responsibility of not having a crash here, both of them are responsible. Marcel could’ve avoided it by noticing the guy’s bad racecraft, and yield a bit more space to him.

    Listen to my mate Nico Rosberg, ”the Guy Ahead always diktates the line” thats why the incident with Carlos and Checo in Baku was Perez fault even though it is judged as a racing incident, same with Leclerc and vettel 2019 Brazil, surprised you didn’t know😉
