This video brought back memories from 2017. My first time at Owino market was chaotic but I loved the Gnut. That's the main thing I miss haha. Our host called Jj also got lost trying to get out. Makes random rice and general food taste heavenly. You both have a nice personality to counter uncomfortable comments hahah. Loved it new subscriber here.
I liked the fact that u visited Uganda🇺🇬 purposely for Love and Fun not like other travelers who visit other countries for Shaming, humiliate, degrading, ur amazing Thx.
I was there for about 2 months and seen some really great places. Notable was Muchisin falls, Victoria Senena, Munuyono, Kazi...and within the city, down town old taxi park and even Kamocha market. Rode on bodas and had a chance to drive around the city. The local people generally polite and helpful. At Acacia mall it looked like some EU country. Absolutely wonderful and beautiful country 💞

@@Wind99dir Don't worry, Kampala is safe, as far as the main city is concerned. But be care with your mobile. Do not keep it in your shirt's top pocket, be wary of motorbikers (bodas) zipping past, they can snatch and ride away. Right now it's rainy season. Of course you can make videos.

Is this owino market? How were you able to film in that market woow. The tour guide did Ana amazing job explaining what happens in the market too next time learn a local Greeting like in Kampala you can say gyebale to mean hello 👋

She isn't free with the hood next if u are to tour around there get a more hood compatible guide you will be more safe and u gona enjoy, she was walking fast trying to escape the place. A simple greeting word in the local language will also do magic during your filming.

That dried fish you tried is usually not eaten raw. You have to cook it . The paste you tried are usually made from groundnuts and sesame. Sometimes they are mixed together. Surprised your guide doesn’t speak Luganda. That would be me, no Luganda-just Luo and Swahili
