Lore wise a company of 100 space marines is sufficient to conquer a world. Man put multiple chapters worth (I think there was half a legion in the first attempt) on a mountain plus a WARLORD TITAN and thought the zombies stood a chance.
That implies the policital savviness of the space marines, remember theyre not just brute force usuall
most legions were around 100k
the first attempt was around 4 and a half chapters at full strength in numbers, 3.3 chapters in the second.
A full legion from the crusade era would be hundreds of thousands of marines and capable of killing billions of zombies^^
Lmao lore wise the 5 chapters worth of terminators alone could take out all these zombies
Nor even 32million zombies could defeat 4500 astartes
"I won't go crazy with the nerf" removes an entire group of space marines and heavily buffs zombies

A single Terminator suit could fight of a zombie apocalypse, especially with a pair of power claws.
Terminator wasn't a suit you clown, it was a full blown robot. A.I. and everything.
If the warlord titan had lore accurate weapons it alone would have cleared the zombies xD
For Space Marines, this is more like a vacation.
Zombies wont get through the plates.
A zombie would not even be able to injure a fully armored space marine.
Always love some 40k UEBS. Handy hint for identifying Space Marine chapters: the left shoulder pad always has the chapter badge, so even if the colours are similar you can tell one from the other- 99% of chapters are some mix of red, blue, grey or green 😆
Lol balanced by a guy unfamiliar with space marine lore. Its always funny to see the reaction when people realize just how insanely crazy the space marines are. Initially i was like “ok well maybe the game doesnt properly reflect how powerful they are” then we got to half the zombie dead and i was like yup thats about right XD.

The first battle was fine, I genuinely wanted to see it to completion. I'm going to be honest when I say your unit placement was more of the issue. The second is worse. Taking away the melee units that were supporting titans means you may as well get rid of them, at least move them onto a hill so they can support the Iron Hands. Iron Hands forced to die pointlessly on a hill because they HAVE NO GUNS.
They are still cool fights in the end, and I'm still glad you're enjoying getting into the lore. I'm just a little acoustic when it comes to unit placement and fields of fire. Maybe it's the Iron Warrior in me.

He'd need like 10 times the halo fighters minimum, even if he just uses like only tons of master chiefs, and tons of odst sqauds. He can't use the best 40k legions, characters, tanks, titans, or any ridiculous 40k tech. (I've played since halo 1 until halo 3, and still do on and off when I can, last one I completely beat was odst which wasn't very good, I've tried the others but they all suck, except the halo wars games) I love halo too but the vehicles/tech just don't compare , it just wouldn't be a fair 1vs1 fight, they'd definitely need like 10 Spartans, and odst sqauds for one Astartes unless they have bolters, (especially no explosive ammo in the bolters) then it might even be a more unfair fight. I'm not counting alien heretics as fighting with the unsc humans. Mass hunters, and invisible golden elites with swords would definitely be able to get some hits in, but they're aliens, and can't fight with humans.
There was no "glitch" because u had mele in a stationary mode the abomination caused the to be moved. They ended up moving into a spot where they couldn't attack or be attacked which caused them to stand there staring at each other
Blood Angels in this game are a joke with the abysmal dual blasters. They need to be melee troops as that was their strong point in the lore.
Also Jump Packs. And how do the Salamanders not have Flamers?
@@philosotree5876calm down there buddy… there are LIMITED weapon types for modding this game. Like 2 dozen or something.
Basically every modded unit is just a retextured existing unit with custom stats.
@@62sy Okay, in that case, I'll give you the jump packs, but Cleopatra has fireballs so they should at least have Meltas.

That being said Meltas are more like a wave of heat rather than a fireball. An author once described them as “microwave guns”.

This is basically a Nurgle infestation of the Pox and a marine strike force aided by knights and titans sent to exterminate
Trolls would be a good unit to add to the zombies, add trolls in next time so it's more balanced

The first battle was overkill, but lore accurate for a Tyranid/ork incursion, and maybe Necron.
Second battle was lore accurate
Third battle was unneeded
I wish the mechs actually shot from their guns and not out of the feet. Not sure if that's because of uebs 2 or the model
The reason why those zombies were glitching out bcs or those undead abominations... they were throwing legion dudes in some random places on cliff sides where zobies could not reach them but were still agro on them :P
Would’ve made sense to let the mechs and tanks free walk or drive because if you are a vehicle and are giant, you definitely would be running over zombies and also walking on them. Just would be more realistic in my opinion.

1 space marine can win a battle, a squad of space marine can win a war, you gave them 4 full chapters of marines.... its gonna be a little unfair regardless what you put them against.

A recommendation, mixed units would be awesome to see. Had those Iron Hands been in front of the Blood Angels, and the Titans moved to support the Legion of the Dammed there would have been a couple of actually cool choke points to see held. It's less action packed to see a square of Marines wait their turn to be ground down on a hill that does nothing to hold back the horde. Even just 10 Ultramarines with those Iron Hands would have made it a way cooler hold. The only buffing that should be considered is more enimies with more health, ranged units even.

Uhg, everytime you call the titans "mechs", my skin crawls. I garuantee you'd be killed by the adeptus mechanicus if they heard you call the God machines "mechs". Also just the reaver titan would take out all those zombies with the nukes, let alone the (warlord class?) It's really glitchy, and I can't tell if it is. Also, all bolters shoot explosive bullets, and all space marines carry a gun and a melee weapon. I'd like to see you add like 50 custodies to the 40k army. If you thought the imperial fist were too strong and had to take them out, you'd take out everyone except the custodies to have a fair match lol. I'd love to see you put the titans in a actually good position, and add some custodies, and maybe some doom tanks.
Edit: no one likes the salamanders; unless they like flamethrowes, and only flamethrowers lol...... also, I don't blame the zombies for being afraid to go up the mountain to fight the space marines, they'd never even be able to hurt them through their armor. Also, since every (except like 40 high rankers) space marine have a gun, and a melee weapon they'd take all the zombies down with just 1 space marine. Especially one of the chapter masters who have magic, ancient technological melee weapons that can decimate like half of them at once.
Anyone else see the irony that he brought in a WARCRAFT unit to even stand a chance against a WARHAMMER unit LOL
They are not glitched, there are a bunch of space marines that got knocked onto unaccessible terrain by the legion of the damned..
Space marines regularly fight those numbers but replace zombies with tyrranids OF COURSE THEY WOULD WIN WITH ALMOST 0 LOSSES
That’s why Angron was so mad when his sons lost to pacifists that just buried them in bodies
24,000,000....wow. The glitching of nearly an entire army can be extremely frustrating Hopefully the devs can figure something out with that in the future.
All space marine legions during the crusade numbered near 2.3M.
This did not include the number of adjutent units attached to them from crusade expeditionary forces that themselves beyond that.

I think it would be cool to do like just 1 single marine of all the options available and see how many zombies that squad would kill in a wave style battle.

It might be a cool idea if, along with play by play, you dropped some lore knowledge with stuff like this and star wars, or talk about historical conflicts that line up with the factions you're pitting against one another. This isn't advice, but it might be something to think about.

Hey Daley, if youd like to play a warhammer game I'd suggest warhammer 40k chaos gate: daemon hunters. It's an xcom style game where you play as grey knights (space marine demon hunters) and fight against the forces of nurgle, such as poxwalkers, plague marines, nurgle cultists, etc..

Nice long 40K video. I would say that this map isn't the best for this type of battle. Lots of choke points. You saw when the SM's pushed out beyond the mountain that the Z's got more kills. In the choke points the SM's don't have high enough weight of shots to easily clear Z's whilst the Z's can't kill SM's quickly. So becomes a long slog.
