Im glad someone said this. The defense was irritating me so badly because of that. The clones that were outside the island should have been set up to fire upon the bridges either side to help with breakthroughs and what not and the AT-TE should have been moved to support each bridge directly instead of sitting there for most of the battle and then dieing.
I think the clones would've done a lot better if several legions weren't placed right in front of the bridge chokepoints instead of behind where they could utilize them lmao.
Missing artillery, and heavy weapon platforms clones used. Each legion had a heavy gun for every company. And why aren't they on the defensive side of the bridges in line formation. Those walkers should be spread between the units with rear facing enemy for those 4 rear machine guns
I don’t think people realize just how OP the 332nd company is Rex was given the ability to handpick clones out of the 501 for him and Ahsoka to command in assistance of the Mandalorians Meaning he more than likely picked the cream of the crop the 501

I would actually say that the Empire could probably give the Imperium a run for its money. Because while the Imperium *is* powerful it’s also inflexible and it takes them a long time to make a decision. Meanwhile the Empire is all about speed, flexibility and flexibility. Take for example just building one ship. The Imperium can spend hundreds of years just to build a single ship (and even then not one of the really big ones) while the Empire can build one of their Super Star Destroyers in under a year. So yes, the Imperium got the Empire beat in raw power. However the Empire got them beat hands down in just sheer speed and adaptability.
Hey Daley just so you know the 332nd isn’t a legion, it’s a company of the 501st. Ahsoka was only a padawan in the Clone Wars, so she was given the rank of Commander instead of Jedi knights and masters, who received the rank of general. Her Master, Anakin Skywalker, was the general in command of the 501st.
The Geonosian clones were the 501st, Galactic Marines and 212th, but with specialized armor to deal with harsh desert-like conditions of Geonosis. It wasn't a separate army. But yes the 91st Mobile Reconnaissance Corps is one he should've included.
Just out of curiosity, why were the units and equipment distributed the way they were? The numbers advantage and the lack of air/space support kinda screwed the troopers from the get go. What about the republic tanks? What about the scout walkers? There aren’t even any turbo tanks crushing the masses underneath. No LAAT overwatch? No arc 170, v-19, z-95, y-wing, v-wing CAS? No roving support provided by ARC troopers, commandos, or jump troopers? No heavy repeating blasters? And not to mention there isn’t at least 1 venator class star destroyer? From the number of individual enemy combatants and the rate that the troopers were chewing through the enemy with just rifles and a handful of heavy walkers the combined forces of a single landing party with proper support from ground and air vehicles would have fared much better than how things turned out.
Can every clone legion hold an island bridge fortress against 7,000,000 demons? Me: "yes, in three Easy steps; 1. Blow the bridges 2. Fill the water moat with oil 3. LIGHT 'EM UP!
Itd be interesting to see and intricately laid out battle with each unit placed strategically rather than as if the British are still coming with tanks AVAILABLE but they arent reinforcing each battalion.
Fun fact commander is lower than captain in the navy. So Rec going from captian to commander would actually be a demotion. 😂 Also the AT-TE's should have been 2 to a bridge. That gives each flank heavy firepower to clear the bridges.
kinda wish more mods like this were unit packs rather than just one unit. the balance between the legions is pretty spread. 501st should in theory have been able to hold just as well as shock due to the experience of the legion. the nova corp was pretty damn lame aswell considering how shock held their side and the side nova was at.
At this point, after moving Commander Rex to the front line, you need to change his saggying war diaper. Ole boy literally shit all over himself after seeing those demons up close and personal. Trust me! He was quite happy at the back. 😂😂

Defensively speaking this was a TERRIBLE set up. Rex would never had allowed a set up like that. Way too many clones died WAY too early. I’d love to see this redone with actual strategy involved and not just “I’ll place this here and that there.” No ill intent to the creator but I know this coulda been done better.

Yes, clone trooper armor, both phase one and two, were fire resistant, due to being made out of some type of metal, I think it was called durasteel or something like that. Still wouldn't have help much, though. Fire would have just found the gaps in the armor around the joints, not to mention the heat from the flames. Stormtroopers armor is made out of some kind of extra hard and durable plastic that I can't remember the name of, so not sure how fire resistant it would be.
I do have to say I think the red Troopers or shock troopers did the most after all they held back two flanks for quite sometime giving the Commandos fewer to kill at the end.
