I've been waiting for ZZZ! I only play Genshin and I wanted a side game to it (turn-based HSR is not my cup of tea), and ZZZ is perfect because it's not open-world, but they got a hub so it's more contained
I recommend you to also try Punishing gray raven or Honkai impact 3rd. Both are action games with amazing gameplay and story. Not an open world games, so won't take much time for dailies (like 10 min max combined) but they're massive and have a lot of content

Played in the beta but i stopped early to not spoil the main quest since it will reset for the official launch. It was very fun, albeit a bit harder to run than Genshin or HSR (the graphics are a step up).

They showed the gameplay for the 2 girls from Calydon and Zhu Yuan from CISRT. The rest of the characters from CISRT gameplays haven't been showed yet in either the beta or the special program. I said Hollow special operations section 6 was in there but I'm a liar wtv. Also we have basically nothing on the idol group

1 thing they didn't point out, is that the Combat is similar to WuWa and Honkai Impact 3rd. Max amount of party members is 3 and They have QTE's. ( idk if you have played Honkai before but Ik you have played wuwa before so you can think of them as outro/intro skills. Also sort of like follow up attacks in Star rail. )

What I really like about hoyoverse is that they keep a really good balance between male and female characters, and the story is usually really good and different from your average gacha game where the story is only to introduce the next pair of boobs and move on (looking at you Tower of Fantasy)

1) Not everything is about Wuwa, I think you’re having some sort of inferiority complex about this. But don’t worry I’m sure no one can beat Wuwa in disaster launch day drama 👍🏼
2) Hoyo has already had music videos in livestreams before, acting like this is somehow a Kuro thing is just very silly. Kuro doesn’t have copyright on showing music videos. Hoyo already did it with HSR and Genshin before. Also this music video literally IS about the game, it sets the feel and vibe of the story and it showed off some characters.
3) UI design is subjective.
4) I honestly suggest you take off the Wuwa blinders, not everything is about Wuwa or Kuro.
I find it hilarious when Kuro fans accuse Hoyo of copying anything from Kuro, when Kuro has not made a single game that was not a copy in some way of Hoyo game in their entire history as gaming company.
I was disappointed in the ZZZ lifestream... also the collab they trying to push feel like they only want people to think ZZZ got deeper and epicer combat than Wuwa.... which is false! everything felt like they wanted to showoff how better they are from Kuro.... But instead felt rush and idk last minute I guess
like the music video felt out of place like the dev thinking the live stream is like the game award or some shit... like yes Wuwa livestream had music video but it was a music video about the game!!! or that ZZZ is already top dog, although the first close beta was dogshit.... after that Beta my hype died... and nothing since than got it back....
Sidenote the UI ingame look terribly bad!!

U know not everything is about WuWa. About the layout, I disagree (it's OK to have different tastes), I love the old look (retro). And about the combat, I found it really good and loved. I don't think they were even thinking about WuWa about the combat, but Street Fight series because they were heavily inspired by them.
So chill, wait for the game to release and see if you like or not.

I am sorry but some of the things you said is absolute bullshit.
WW's livestream was complete dogwater. Anyone thinking otherwise is delusional. The music in ZZZ is supposed of be 2000s vibe. It fits as far as I am concerned.
You are in the minority of people thinking the UI is bad. I understand different people have different taste, but you shouldn't pass it as an fact.
Combat difference between WW and ZZZ boils down to two aspects. WW focuses on individual character kits to improve its combat experience (If it couldn't do this, Genshin's combat beats it). ZZZ on the other hand focuses on character switching as its main combat focus. Everything else is virtually identical to WW apart from the elemental system (WW elemental system doesn't exist. ZZZ has some barebone-ish implementation.)
Nothing about this livestream showed Hoyo going "OOO we are better than Kuro". Stop. Kuro and Hoyo are not a bunch of teenagers going through puberty unlike the players. Hoyo simply has a bigger budget to use. While Kuro does not. However, this does not excuse the shitshow of a livestream Kuro had.
