The immediate look of the CBR reminds me of the awe the 1985 Honda VF1000R brought to the table and commanded. It was the bike people saw and immediately desired (I know, I was one of those High Schoolers drooling over it), who now has two of them. Absolute beauty and I will add one to the stable no doubt. Great review and look forward to seeing these on the road (and track). Be safe and keep her sunny side up! 🤙
Great review. There has never been a better time to buy, own & ride bikes. There are so many classes, styles, and overlap between types. I have always been a Honda and Yamaha guy. I just appreciate their pedigree, consistency, and innovation. All of the top companies have their strengths and have owned almost every brand but again, usually go back to Honda or Yamaha. It’s nice to see Honda do right by the Fireblade. Unlike other segment where mergers and acquisitions usually destroys the playing field, the motorcycle segment has remained relatively unchanged. In cell phones its Verizon, T-Mobile & At&T. For computer CPUs there is only AMD and Intel. When that happens, competition is destroyed and innovation stifles. Luckily the motorcycle segment has actually grown as companies like BMW have expanded. The only bad part is that there is so much choice. We all wish we could have 10 bikes. I could probably pick more from the ones I really like. It’s a good problem to have. Thanks again for the review.
Really like your review of the bike, very honest and straight up. One suggestion is add a solid minute clip of nothing but the sounds. I was hoping to hear more of that screamer. Maybe drop that at the beginning or at the end I would say.

@Brandon Harkness I'm f-ing tired of the marketing BS, man. Only if companies would have the same amount of budget for the R&D and make something decent, people would actually buy it. When someone is going to spend 5 months worth of their savings, they will look for value for money. They will search for and discover a Aprilia Tuono v4 or Speed Triple or a S1000RR or something. These stupid naming schemes won't help you.
HONDA always makes a reliable and everlasting motorcycles You know it's serious when HONDA decides to compete with other motorcycles apart from moto gp And everytime HONDA shows who is the fastest if they want to... ❤️
From what Jensen Beeler on Asphalt and Rubber is saying, this bike is actually more constricting than the 2017-19 version. I'm 6'3", and own a 2019 SP and a 2013 Aprilia RSV4.... 2019 fits me very well, RSV4 not so much
Funny story. I just bought one of these on 7/21/21. I've never ridden a street bike of any kind in my 40 years on earth and I can't get enough of it!! In the last 2 days, I've logged 175 miles, don't wanna disclose my top speed (haven't maxed out though). I can't get enough of the 9500+ RPM range or how planted to the road it feels at all times!!!! I can only speculate it's the equivalent of piloting an F16 😁
You have an excellent way of explaining things. Like the air pocket behind the wind screen for example. Great video. I’ll be watching more of your videos on bikes that I am interested in for sure.
Honda has upped the bar. Too bad the US Spec SC82 RR-R non press bike came restricted in power to 189hp vs. Europe versions 215hp. That power translated into 162whp on a Dynojet WinPep8. Honda definetly charging premium price, but they need to get rid of that restriction if they want to compete in this segment in US.
I just want one in my collection. Maybe ride a couple times a year. I don’t posses the skill to ride it to the edge but enough to enjoy it on track days. Then replace my tv with it and just stare at it for hours till the next run trying to keep my heart rate down

I think its funny when now suddenly the blade has more power its suddenly amazing.. I swear people live in a top trump world its not all about power what made the fireblade a great bike in the first place..
Man this bike is just amazing, no words to say, i would take this over any other litre class sports bike, my fav cbr series and also what u said at the end of this video abt honda is damn true❤️
They just uncrated one of these at one of my local Honda dealers near the Honda Factory. We were there test riding some used bikes and they just rolled this thing in. Boy was it better looking in person....
The only people Honda's been taking a beating from is reviewers.... The double-R blade definitely had its place as the only reliable supersport that's suitable for actual road use.
Love the review and love the dreamlike status machine from Honda. Is the the world's illest liter- superbike?? I feel like it's better than a Ducati V4s.
rest of the world has had this bike for 12 months already......standard it's extremely high geared for the euro5 emission (299 in 4th gear) if geared properly it has a lot more bottom to mid range power.
Great overview Adam, without bogging down too much on the technical details, and hitting the important highlights.
Thanks man.
