by the way, Tel doesn’t stop Counters between other squads…. so that would have changed your squad game by a mile
Rudor can not be attacked if the attacking squad is engaged with another squad. In this case being engaged with tel means counter does not work against rudor. -John
That poor Rebel cell got evaporated.
This was fun to watch! I have been trying a Sato fleet of my own that was a lot like Ken's. I think it can definitely work if the dice work too. My big plan was to base it around Tycho and Lando as my main fighters though. Not sure if that would have helped in this case though?

Great battle report as always! Burt I have to say...Sato hammerheads but no APT??? That has to be breaking one of the sato 10 commandments or something lol
Sato without APTs... probably a mistake. My goal here was to determine if XI7 Hammerheads with Sato could punch in more damage than APTs could. The black dice did not seem to be rolling.

I don't think XI7s play well in MSU because slim odds of getting all or even most of your ships shooting the same target arc at the same time.
Gutted to see only 1 use of Sato ability and no use of the ion. Since Ken is player 2 and wants to change red to black, could have held back and wait for chance for squads to jump in? #madness
Sato probably needs aces like Tycho but nevertheless Tel Trevura was far more durable than normally is. Usually when I play him my opponent constantly rolls 2 accuraies each time and in two attacks I've lost him. The battle was intense until the end with the lone raider climing the final kill. #madness
Excuse me guys but are the Cards for the Venator home made or official? And where to find them?
We do not release or play with anything unofficial. The only exception would be home rules for campaign play and an occasional 3D print model (ex: Lando’s Falcon).

Thank you very much for this game. The more I watch, the more I get excited for playing my best friend since kindergarten in 3 weeks (he's sadly also the only person I can play with since the south German armada scene is quite dry (or I didn't find the right ways to drill for water, yet)).
Two small questions:
1. Why did you Jon decide to go with a raider and not a Gonzanti. What is the benefit?
2. Could you sample the music a little bit down (just a pinch) sometimes it was hard to hear what you were talking (especially when your head's were down on the board and you were kind of mumbling).
