  • Mathematical Dream State. Super-modulated delay inspired by cascaded rack gear from the 80s. Watch/listen as Angelo wades from a straight delay to tidal stereo soundscapes. Check out how all the controls can be used together. Hear the feedback filter, multiple tap, hex LFOs, repeat smearing, dynamic flanger, hex modulation, and phaser. Dive deep with second layer controls and discover endless possibilities. Hook up an expression pedal directly to the back of the pedal for expressive control.

    Just got the Mercury7 last week, it's amazing! Next will be this. These Meris pedals are perfect for my synths, and I'm using my Mercury7 more than my big sky right now

    I initially just saw the thumbnail with water on the polymoon and I cried a little. If it doesn't work anymore I'll gladly take it off your hands haha.
    In all seriousness though, great demo!

    The filter section both in polymoon and ottobit is simply the greatest ever. Couldnt believe that a one knob filter could be so powerful. I think its high time you released a dedicated filter pedal

    Just got one of these. Really love it, great work Meris. It's fantastic with stereo amp rig. As well as guitar, it works really well in getting a stereo image, with the Dynamics, from a Moog Grandmother. And sounds fantastic on a Roland TB-303 too. Nice video too. The intro did make me laugh a little, because it somehow reminded me of a Tim + Eric comedy sketch. With the music and the waterfall and the deadpan voiceover :) Oh, and the Dimension control is genius. It's great to have on it's own, but then when you can combine it with the Dynamics. Then the filtering too, makes it a really interesting of well thought out individual parts, but that when all put together make for something really amazing. I use mine after a Chase Bliss Mood mk.II set to Reverb, then use the Polymoon for the delay. I can see how the LVX could be amazing too, if it can do the Mood mk.II microlooper stuff, as well as the Polymoon delay. Because I do sometimes wish I had the flexibility of having the Polymoon in between the Mood mk.II micro-looper, and it's LHS Reverb/Smear. Thinking about it, if Chase Bliss do a Mood mk.II, an stereo send/return, like on my DOD Rubberneck, where I could insert the Polymoon would be ace.

    I love the sounds and concepts introduced by Meris, but the knobs should be concentric knobs instead of the alt button approach. It is so hard for me to visualize the settings on the pedal in its current form.

      I'm curious about who inspired the "cascaded rack gear" genesis for the pedal. I saw you mentioned Holdsworth and Zappa. Any details about what they did that inspired the pedal?

      Yes. You can achieve Stereo Barberpole phasers but much more. In Polymoon the phaser is fixed in the post location. In LVX, you have the full freedom to add phaser in any location, Pre+Dry, Pre, Feedback, Post

    The taps on my pedal aren’t nearly this clear, even with the dimension turned all the way down and the set to it’s slowest setting, and I’m having trouble recreating the sounds I’m hearing in the demos. It’s as if all the taps are permanently smeared. Any idea what I’m doing wrong? I thought I set it up correctly in the global settings, but the repeats definitely aren’t as clear as they are in this video no matter what I do

    I love Meris pedals but I would really appreciate a presets footswitch because it can quickly get very confusing when trying to replicate exact outcomes. Imagine doing a live set. Also, how does a guitarist achieve a specific delay when needing to use it like a standard delay pedal?

    • @MerisUs
      @MerisUs  5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      We have a 4 button preset switch available to access 4 presets on the fly. You can also control our pedals via MIDI to save up to 16 presets.

    Curious if it can be used on an acoustic with pickup? Thanks.

    • @nathanvassiliades1790
      @nathanvassiliades1790 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Any pedal can be used on an acoustic with a pickup. You just have to have the guitar plugged into the pedal and the pedal plugged into an amp. If you don't have pickup, you can set up a mic, and run that into the pedal.

    Hello! do you know how to turn on / off trs stereo and line / synth input?

    • @MerisUs
      @MerisUs  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello! All of these settings can be changed in the Global Settings. Just hold the ALT button/LED while plugging in the power supply. All LEDs will blink three times then release ALT. Each knob and switch in this boot up menu control different global functions of the pedal. Check out the full online manual, or the 3 page Quickstart guide that came with the pedal for the full list.
