12/11/2022. First time listening to Goin’ Down and it’s incredibly awesome. Definitely my favourite soundtrack yet. Anyone still listening to this in 2022?
People are complaining about them not talking about Jesus and spreading the word constantly. Why aren't ya'll happy that it's actually clean music that kids and adults can listen to? Seriously!

FYI The Script released Hall of fame 61 days before Group 1 Crew's entire Fearless album hit the stores, so in terms of lyrical originality one could say this song followed Hall of Fame's tracks. Nevertheless in terms of non-singles the script only was 3 days ahead in terms of Album to Album release gap relative to each other. Album to album compared I regard Fearless way higher than #3. Group Crew did exceptional and took #1 slots in Billboard ratings at least three times with this album, and "Forsaken", my favorite song from the album was not even one of those three. Hall of Fame won in terms of single to single societal impact and The Script's Wikipedia page properly gives honor and credit to Lee Ann Womack Liddell for their usage of her hit song as part of their single. When paper trails follow artists like that it is truely professional and respectable. Blanca did some really good work as a single independant artist after this, but if Group 1 Crew got back together I would love to hear more of their work. Taking other songs and inferring and direct quoting them in your lyrics is fine if credit is properly given. sometimes back channel stuff happens in the industry where sponsoring like lobbyist groups have folks write topical songs or songs with a common theme. Then the label sends them all out and society is programmed with that theme. One example is the whole LGBTQ stuff from gen 1 youtube. Katy Perry did not just out of the blue come up with "I kissed a girl" but beyonce might've heard it and followed up with "If I was a boy".
