@DarkMonke Dont know if it's that simple. As far as I can tell Peter did not give them their full name. Secondly, Peter was a minor and not a criminal, therefore he would not show in any known criminal data base, all they have is a face to go by, not any names, any adress, nothing. They dont even know his age. I guess the only thing they could do is have a sketch artist draw Peter's face and give it to JJ since he hates Spider-Man, then I would see it happening. It's kind of a plot hole tbh, I dont see the fight manager guy not thinking about exposing Spider-Man's identity for money. Who knows, maybe he heard about the mugger killing his uncle and he has a heart.

Weirdly I think the games and novelizations add a LOT of genuinely interesting plot points and story flow that you wouldn't have otherwise. I believe it's charming
I agree, and surprisingly, most things from the games and novels fit into the timeline of the movies perfectly. I only had to shift a few things around for this timeline to make sense, so it’s incredible how cohesive it all feels.

That scene before uncle Bens death where he talks with Peter at the library will always make the death hurt a lot,the look on his face was so heart breaking I couldn’t handle it and would cry every time
Definitely an emotional scene. I wish it would've played out different, but Uncle Ben's actor does a great job that it's hard to not love it.

I was a casual fan until life kicked me down hard. I was looking for an inspiration, then rediscovered this trilogy and it changed everything for me. The best thing I love about this trilogy is that besides entertainment it teaches us some great life lessons, this is something you don't see anymore in superhero movies of modern era.

Sma rami wanted to make sure Peter earned his superh ero title. By creating flaws in his character that he had to overcome by doing the right thing.
That's actually my favorite part of these movies. I was personally inspired by them, and that was somehow worth more than the superhero itself.

Honestly, I don't need Spider-Man 4, I would prefer to get Spider-Man 3: Director's Cut as Raimi never wanted to add Venom in three, but instead much later in 5. I think that would have been amazing and just so much better.

I like how the novelizations mention other superheroes in the raimi verse, I think you missed the hulk and Reed Richards mention In the first novel.
I knew they were there but I didn’t think I’d need to mention them since they’re so out of touch with the storyline of the Raimi trilogy, they’re just mentioned randomly unlike Daredevil who ties in directly to a plot point from the first novel.
BUT I could have mentioned Ant Man in the second novel when I didn’t. Regardless I too liked all the mentions of other heroes!
When is hulk mentioned?
@@spider-jonah-man7148 he is mentioned in the first movie novel. Not by name, but they talk about a green guy doing stuff in New Mexico. If I recall correctly, it’s said by the two robbers Spider-Man stops at the armored truck when he first starts taking pictures for the Bugle

Fox's Fantastic 4, X-Men, and an unreleased Black Panther movie were set to cross over. I'm not so sure about Spiderman, but there is a terrible Daredevil movie this could maybe work with. There's a fan edit called Marvel Knights that combines many of the 2000s movies into a miniseries. It sounds pretty awkward, but it could be interesting

I love how the novelizations add so much to the story! I would argue the novelizations often tell a better story than the films! I always wondered where Peter got his suit from, learning it came from the Flying Dutchman's tailor brother was a neat touch. This reminds me of the Poltergeist II novelization, which was amazing and superior to the theatrical film.
Agreed! The novelizations provide more details in certain scenes where the movies couldn't spend enough time to explain everything, so they offer a nice insight into things not put to film.
It’s kinda like the Revenge of the Sith novelisation which was absolutely brilliant

I love all the added lore, whether it's goofy tie-ins or genuine development. The Star Wars canon used to be like this, where EVERYTHING was canon, and even video games were added to the continuity (ignoring areas of conflict). While this is already super thorough, were you accounting for deleted scenes and extended sequences from the script as well?
For the most part, I included extended sequences (especially stuff as seen in Spider-Man 2.1) and deleted scenes that were part of the original screenplay. Scenes that may have been cut from the movie but were in the screenplay, were present in the novelizations since those books were based on those early drafts of the film.

There’s only two scenes in particular that I can think of that were deleted from the first movie; there was the bank heist that ended at the twin towers, and Eddie Brock’s first appearance (then played by R.C. Everbeck) leaving JJ’s office as Peter first arrives. The latter is supported by a comment made by Robbie about Eddie being on the case for Spider-Man in the final film. Not sure how well that meshes with Spider-Man 3 though.
Also, can safely say Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine cameo was never meant to be canon and would make the universe a lot more convoluted

Well after No Way Home we can kinda start piecing together some of what happens after SM3. He apparently made it work with MJ and has clearly been Spidey for a very long time.

That would be very interesting, especially since the first game isn’t a retelling it’s a new story but then there’s inconsistencies like the two rhinos so I’d like to see how they’re handled.
Also this one is a minor inconsistency, but in TASM 1 game it’s implied that vulture is a cross species, but in TASM 2 in Kraven’s house you can see a picture of vulture and he looks just like the comic version, but in that same game (and the movie) there’s also the mechanical vulture wings at Oscorp

Thank you! I've always been fond of the music used in these games and unlike music from the films, they don't fall under copyright so it was much easier to include them over certain movie soundtracks.

My biggest takeaway from this video is that I didn't know of that secret boss fight in Spider-Man 2, all the stuff rom the psp version of 2, they actually used one of the other symbiotes from the comics for 3 (ps2), and that this is a fantastic video.

You forgot to mention that Spider-Man 3 also has a consistency of its own about when the plot took place: In the police office scene, about Flint Marco being Uncle Ben's ture killer, Peter said to Cap. Stacy, "Now you're telling me that had this suspicious for 2 years?"
That line implies that Spider-Man 3 also takes place 2 years about the first film, and the plot itself takes place only a few months after the events of Spider-Man 2. If this line were correct, said by Peter, in the movie, wouldn't that mean the third film still takes place in 2004?
What is canon in the movies IS canon.
No it’s a consistency error between movies. Spider-Man 3 takes place in 2005, roughly the early portions of the year, that’s consistent with the regular canonical timeline and this timeline. You can even see that SM3 takes place in 2005 cause it says it on a banner when Harry is in his car and pulls away from Peter at Mary Jane’s musical at the start of the movie where it says “Best Musical Winner 2005 Tony Award” it’s above Peter’s head.
This timeline DOES give different dates from the films however, that’s why I said this isn’t official. But like I mentioned throughout different portions of the video, it doesn’t make sense for Uncle Ben to die in the middle of summer (which is shown in the movie) even though Peter hasn’t graduated, so that may seem why it’s closer to three years has passed when in movie terms, Peter has only said two. It’s a big muddled mess no matter what way you look at it though.

It should also be noted that Spider-Man: The New Animated Series was originally a continuation of Spider-Man 1 before Spider-Man 2 came out. I've always figured that it could be considered a branch timeline where Dr Connors Became The Lizard, if Connors becomes the Lizard he can never introduce Peter to otto.
I do kinda want to see a version of the last 2 Raimi movies that takes place after the events of TNAS.
but in Spider Man 1 Peter Already finished the High School at some point in the story, while in Spider Man TNAS he was still in the High School.

This universe intrigued me with how much was hinted at but not shown. Doctor Strange getting name dropped, Dr. Connors being present but not used as The Lizard yet, Captain America being referenced, etc. I can only imagine if the MCU used this continuity and had Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man throughout it

I love how Raimi’s Spider Man is so in depth and branched that a whole 2 hour timeline exists while The MCU, a movie franchise where timelines are a huge thing, Spider Man has little to no character whatsoever in his two solo movies plus his cameos in Civil War, Infinity War and Endgame. Just goes to show that Raimi’s Spider Man will forever be superior
I'm sure Tom's timeline will continue to expand but it does suck that he doesn't have any video games or extra forms of media to create a bigger timeline.

Exactly. MCU Spiderman feels so shallow in terms of story and emptions. No amount of stupid gadgets and tech will ever replace that classic spiderman feeling, and that's a feeling that MCU Spiderman just doesnt have

I watched the entire video. I don’t normally watch videos that long (especially when I’ve got a bunch of homework) but you had me hooked all the way. You tied everything in so perfectly. I’m so glad you made this video. I didn’t realize how much time went between the movies. I never knew the dates. I know they had thanksgiving in Spider-Man 1 and Peter graduated college but I just assumed he graduated at a weird time. I didn’t pick up on the time jumps. I thought that the movies happened in the course of a few days. I’ve played all the games and read all the comics but I haven’t read the novel adaptations so it was really neat hearing that. I don’t like books, it’s hard for me to focus and I end up walking away with nothing. I’ve also never played the PSP, PC, Xbox, DS, or game boy versions of the games so I’m glad you covered all the versions. The only ones I have are 1-3 on the PS2 and 3 on the PS3. Love those games! Thank you so much dude.
Edit: I forgot to mention. I noticed there was no mention of Bruce Campbell as Mysterio. Sam Raimi confirmed he was Quentin Beck. It says so on Bruce Campbells filmography too. I assume you did that because you wanted the game version to be canon and since there was no in universe confirmation it was easy to overlook.

Also yeah, I figured since Spider-Man 4 never came to be, Mysterio and Bruce's characters could be considered two different people in this timeline. HOWEVER, I definitely am aware that he was being set up in the movies and it's a really cool thing that Raimi was gonna do that.
@@InnovativeJdawg with the multiverse and everything maybe we will see Bruce Campbell Mysterio. I hope we get to see as many Raimi characters as possible. Though, I’d much prefer sequels to the Raimi films rather than the multiverse. The MCU is way too messy for my liking. Too many characters, too many possibilities, too much humor, too much CGI. But if I can at least see my beloved characters on screen then it’s at least worth a watch.

So just finished watching this video and saw no way home a couple days ago here is some mild spoilers that adds a little bit more to this timeline but also makes some things false please like this comment that way creator of this video can see it
(no big spoilers besides tobey and andrew being in nwh)
Ok so here's some things first off when we see Tobey in no way home he's old and clearly the most experienced spider man of them all however he hasn't fully gave up on being spiderman yet since he still wears his suit under his regular clothes. Another thing is when Tobey sees Andrew staring at Tom and zendaya in the lab in sadness after what happened to gwen in his universe Tobey asked if Andrew has someone Andrew says no and says he gave up doing Peter Parker stuff and asked to Tobey if he has someone which Tobey replies saying it was compllicated for a while (ending of spiderman 3 and maybe a year or two) but eventually Tobey and his mj ended up sticking together and made it work. However we also find out that Tobey also was depressed for a while after Harry's death too because ned asks Tobey in the lab if Tobey had any friends helping him and Tobey replied yes he died in my arms and I think a little bit later Tom asks how to make a cure for Norman and Tobey said he has been thinking about it for years meaning Tobey was really hurt by Harry's death and how it all could've been avoided if he cured Norman before he died in Spider man 1. We also do find out that in tobeys and andrew universe the avengers do not exist meaning some points in this video about captain america and (hulk I think) never actually existed in this universe. then we also find out shortly after that its inferred thanks to Tobeys Reply when Tom asked "what are some crazy villans they ever fought" Tobey replies "looks like you met some of them" meaning Tobey did fight some more villans after spiderman 3 but esides that nothing else got mentioned about tobeys life since spider man 3 so please like this comment that the guy who posted this video and other people can see some more new things that happened in this universe after spiderman 3.
Sincerely agree but i think only a few heroes exist in this universe maybe Captain America and Hulk, but there is no team with the greatest heroes, all or the vast majority must act alone, one of those that actualy and a variant of Doctor Strange according of Jameson, and Punisher do the same movie 2004 because cameo in Spider Man 2
@@luanisaias113 yeah I forgot the punisher movie actually exists in this timeline lol but wouldn't be surprised maybe in this universe captain america simply never woke up out of ice and hulk was a myth or the government killed him before he could be known to the public I don't know and we probably won't ever know sadly

Tobey and Andrew had such great chemistry on screen. I'd love to see all 3 spiderman together again. While I love Tobeys spiderman I still personally feel that Andrew's is my favorite and most comic accurate.

Thank you, I appreciate it! Also, I’ve gotten a lot of requests to do a TASM timeline so I’ll most likely put one together. However because it takes a bit more time to put one of these together and with No Way Home almost here, I’ll probably hold off on it just in case we see Andrew in that movie.
With that being said, I’ll probably update this timeline too if Tobey makes an appearance as well.

I was absolutely addicted to the Spider-Man 2 game. One of my favorites along with the PS1 Spider-Man games
the fact that this much time effort and dedication took to make a video like this with all details u could have is amazing hopefully in the future during spider-man no way home we can see some part of sam raimi’s spider-man’s life through the years and maybe after doctor strange multiverse of madness there’s even some type of spider-man 4 but that’s probably a stretch but great vid.

This is great! I made a timeline similar to this for The Amazing Spider-Man films in a word document YEARS ago, specifically to map the events between the second film and its tie-in game(s).

I love Spider-Man he's my personal favorite fictional character however he's been a bit mistreated and misunderstood in other popular media as for the Raimi trilogy well we all know the first two movies are really good but the third one is just really disappointing.
Yeah it’s definitely been a rocky history, and as for Spider-Man 3, I personally liked it. Not as much as the other two but I don’t hate it.
