I just visited Nagaland in late December. Missed Dzokou Valley and Mokokchung. But it was a great experience all together. I hope government improves the roads though.
Our roads are under construction, four lane roads Soo visit us again.

@@NKMblogs77 really sorry for you I visited Darjeeling ladakh Sikkim and Assam all people are lovely and beautiful in major cities of india many people aren't aware about north east they are also shocked when someone came from usa many people from northeast India looks like southeast Asians but they are Indians and we love all of them
That's my mother India. People of Nagaland are rich in culture. I love them . Earlier I visited Meghalaya and Assam but I have planning to visit Nagaland once in my lifetime.

I was here last year on December 4, reaching early from Kohima and leaving early next day for my homestay in Kigwema where I was based for the Hornbill Festival over the next few days and the Dzukou valley trek. Once again, the vistas that you bring forth are panoramic and takes me to a nostalgic trip. I did opt for the same 4-hour guided trek too. But I think you missed out on the shot put kind of metal balls near the stone-sitting circle (Khwehou) near to where two Morungs are. Also yo could have visited the local museum. Your guide did not take you up to the old graveyard? I recommend anyone coming here should stay overnight to get the vibe of this village and staying with U.Kose and his family at Hill View Homestay is gonna make for a memorable experience.
