《活力新故鄉》EP90雙語預告｜香港 張凱琳

來自香港的張凱琳，是名資歷豐富的童裝設計師，過去經常到台灣出差，偶然的機會下認識了來自桃園大溪的先生黃榮將；婚後兩人都很想擁有愛的結晶，卻遲遲無法如願，最後兩人達成共識，藉由試管做最後一次的努力，總算迎來兩個可愛的雙胞胎女兒。
成為媽媽，是凱琳的異鄉生活最大的轉捩點！有了孩子後，凱琳笑言自己就像剛生完的母貓一樣，具攻擊性，一點枝微小事就能觸動她的情緒失控，還好有神隊友榮將的相扶持，一起站穩育兒的腳步。如今女兒們滿三歲、上幼稚園了，凱琳也再度重回職場，繼續做她想做的事，將二手的牛仔褲，重新設計打造，製作成錢包、托特包、電腦包等，把時間反轉，重新賦予舊衣們新的生命。
Chang Kai- ling, from Hong Kong, has a profound experience in children’s wear design. She often went to Taiwan on business. One day, she met her husband, Huang Rong-Jiang, in Daxi by chance. Both of them wanted to have babies after their marriage. However, things didn’t go as planned. Then they decided to do IVF and had lovely twins finally.
Becoming a mother marked a turning point in Kai-Ling’s life abroad. Kai-Ling said, when she just gave birth to the twins, she was aggressive and was like a female cat giving birth to kitten. She lost her temper easily for very small things. Thanks to her husband’s help, she could properly raise their children. Now, their daughters are 3 years old and go to preschool. Kai-Ling also starts a second career and engages in what she wants. She upcycles second- hand jeans into wallets, tote and laptop bags. All in all, she makes old clothes retro and gives them new life.
