This makes me picture a perfect sunny day in the Japanese countryside. Just me, my house, and an Aibo. Everything about this is magical and oddly nostalgic. Makes me miss my childhood and simpler times
I had the full version of this on a cassette tape of Japanese children's songs that I bought in Kumamoto, back in the 70s! Wow! Hearing this again nearly brought tears to my eyes. I wish I could find that tape now...

so here in Singapore theres a chime every first day of every month i don't know what it is for but i live in a place where i cant hear it btw nice melody
I heard this in my neighborhood during my short stay in Japan and it gives me a bittersweet feeling that no other can give.
I heard this a lot in my childhood as well. Japan is a wonderful place
I just realized that this chime is known as “Iriai no Kane” (入相の鐘) which alerts children to head home for the day (around 5 PM or 6 PM).
weather_alert 7 she probably did her research
Yuyake Koyake is the actual name
@@NeilPrasad_1905 yeah lol
Its not Yuyake Koyake?
@@OnlyErron yes it is
Brings back memories of a town I stayed in with the same chime melody. Very nostalgic.
Agreed! I thought of recording it just before I left, but missed the morning one.
Me too, saya rindu suara ini di Fukushima kenJepang sore hari, sungguh saya merindukan selalu selamanya

The culture + this alarm makes me wanna visit Japan even more
This sounds like a melody that wants to put you to sleep like a lullaby
that chime is also used to inform kids that play time is over and it's time to go home.
It's a good idea
This is the same chimes for Okinawa Japan
More videos about these chimes on my channel
I commented on 17:03 (time) after I heard the Japanese chime. I live in Japan (I’m Japanese)
Sounds like the chimes from a seiko chiming wall clock so cool
This is the same chime for my town!

Bosai Musen siren confirmed
My first time hearing this af seika park in Kyoto mar-apr 2022 I love it 🇵🇼❤️🇯🇵💯✌️
palau
This one is my favorite
in Yawatahama city, the music siren made by yamaha plays this song every day at 6pm
Such a cute song with a darker purpose. It's to make sure every loudspeaker is working in case of a natural disaster or war.
Oh no you are a peggie from hope county jokes aside your profile picture is from farcry 5
Bruh the purpose is to tell elementary schoolers it’s time to go home

We got a Peggie here
Or they have just solved a problem using the equipment they already have.
It’s actually 5pm 😃
You are correct! However, it depends on the place and the time of year, I think! I will update the title, thanks! :)
I heard this somewhere....but I've certainly never been in Japan! Somehow, this music is linked to my unconsciousness...
I am in huge depression so I am watching this 😭
I hope it helps to make you feel better!

Ohh Atsugi, miss you so much.
Now this is one of the things that is really cool that is extremely unique to Japan, they don't do stuff like this in the United States
They blast a loud ass fire horn every day at 5pm near my home
@@TheKewlPerson Mine, too! Only it was a fog horn (though we were nowhere near any large body of water!). Later they put in a fire horn.

Yeah, I think they use the same chime in some areas.
That makes sense because I lived in Kashiwa, Chiba for a year and heard the same song
