- Attempting the Yorkshire 3 Peaks BAREFOOT was harder than the national three peaks and at times it had me questioning if I'd make it. Thanks to Joey D as always and thank you to everyone who's sponsored and helped us raise as much as we have, I'm blown away by the support.

Thank you Hazee, I discovered your channel during the first lockdown and the ending of a 5 year relationship, and one year on from losing my dad to cancer.
I got through a winter, thankless jobs and months without my daughter seeing her dad.
You have inspired me to return to nature and deepen my relationship with her, I sleep outdoors at least once a month in woods, sea cliff ledges and almost at the top of mountains.
You reminded me where my personal key is to unlock joy and self.

I doff my cap to you sir. Having been through hell and back with mental health, it needs to be shouted from the roof tops that do not keep it to yourself if you're struggling. Help can come from the most unexpected direction when people know you're fighting demons. 👍👍👍

Me and my mate did the Yorkshire Three Peaks the other week but we wild camped it over three days carrying stupidly heavy packs. My two bottles of rum a necessity. Was great to see the route again in your vid. Hats off to you. Incredible achievement. And big respect to Joey, too.
(P. S that final psychotic vertical zig zag of a path up Ingleborough is horrible, isn't it?!)
Amazing, I did the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, had a break in the pub on route, by the end my hip was knackered and I used my hiking pole as crutches, but completed a bit destroyed, but I had boots on! Amazing what you just did, you must have been tripping with the pain!!!🤪👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️
When I saw you put your shoes on to descend the national 3 peaks I was a bit disappointed. I had a quick, quiet thought to myself that you cheated a bit. After watching this I am ashamed of that thought and take it back x100. Just watched this now hazey after completing only two of the Yorkshire three peaks yesterday.
I was absolutely done afterwards, Ingleborough and whernside kicked my a**e and that's in boots!

3 peaks was a challenge with shoes for me but barefoot is just incredible.....as someone who struggles with mental help and finds hiking and walking is my medicine i am truly gratefull for what you are doing.
Just discovered your channel. Binge watched a bit. Love your attitude and willingness to film your way, whatever the situation calls for. Long arduous hike barefoot, dunk in the pond with nothing more than your skivvies on, etc. You remind me of an early Bear Grylls.

I used to run around barefoot when I was a kid. I never wore shoes. As an adult with my tender footies, I can't even walk 4 steps barefoot without yelling ouch, at least a dozen times. To hike, barefoot, I can't even imagine.
On a serious note, thank you for bringing awareness & raising money for mental health. This is so priceless to me.

I’d need a medic if I attempted that 😆. I recently walked Pen-y-Ghent as part of the Pennine Way and my feet were sore with nice cushioned trail shoes on. You’re a top bloke Hazey. Much respect 👍

Came home from work feeling a bit sniffley, and worn out. Now watching this and telling myself not to be such a princess and dry my eyes. We’ll done mate.
Impressive!! I can't even walk over a few rocks at the beach in my bare feet! I'm guessing the 5-so far- dislikes are from boot manufacturers!. One thing I did wonder about though. Why did you choose to walk on horrible gravelly paths when you had nice grassy swathes either side in places?
Im confused. US long trails are THOUSANDS of miles long.Some do barefoot. Check them out.

Interestingly I just read a book called Grounding by Clinton Ober, Stephen. T. Sinatra. M. D. And Martin Zucker. It's amazing and well worth a read. Your feet may be a little sore now, but have a read about what good things you have done for yourself by walking barefoot.
