Ive only recently started watching these videos of Claires. There seems to be a common thread of inspiration and encouragement that people get from watching. I watch a lot of channels like Claires as well as camping equipment reviews. Claires are best film, best reviews and mostly inspiring. Thats what its all about 😊
The UK benefits from the Gulf Stream that carries warm water from the Carribean and thereby keeps the UK far warmer in winter than its northerly latitude would otherwise indicate. The downside is summer humidity, which makes even a vaguely mild day feel stifling. When Roman legions came to Britain they had to cut the normal length of a day's march from 50km to 30km simply because of the humidity. So while in California a 30 Celsius day is delightful, in the UK a 20 Celsius day can feel "too hot" due to the wet bulb effect.

Thank you for taking us along on your beautiful journeys - long or short, open or stealth, perfect or harsh. You do it best and allow us to appreciate it all
I was running behind on my work, and saw your video. Well now, i am further behind but smiling. Beautiful scenery. The good part about working for yourself is that no one yells at you when you miss deadlines. I put deadlines on every day work, today I really had to work hard to make them
I haven't been camping since before covid. I had forgotten how wonderful it can be. Now I am really excited about going solo camping this year. You are so inspiring! Thankyou
One of the things I like the most is that at nighttime Clare doesn’t ‘watch a movie’ on a device but immerses herself in the wonders of the night sky. A true adventurer with the spirit of an old soul.
We should be the one's saying thank you for sharing your adventures with us. Your videos really capture the true feeling of being out in the wild. Thats something that many on here dont do. Keep the great content coming and thank you for sharing 🙏
Aw that means a lot Karl, love to make these and share them with you guys. It's nice for me as I like to go solo but then also get to share it with lots of lovely people :D Hope you're having a good week!
Another outstanding video Claire! It's great to see you out doing an overnighter with the ol' Lanshan. The weather sure did look gorgeous on this trip... and those views... absolutely breathtaking! That was a great idea using the non-slip material on your trekking poles by the way 👍 I hope that the rest of your week is amazing my friend! Stay wild 🐻 John
Hello John :) 👋 Ooh yeh I can't believe the weather I've been blessed with lately! I took the Lanshan out on a 3-night trip after this and it was glorious 🌞 although it still kicked my butt in other ways haha. Hope you're having a lovely week too friend 🌿🤗 Claire
@@WildBeare Hey Claire :) I'm so glad to hear that you've been having such great weather! The 3-night trip sounds like it was an "interesting" one, haha. Can't wait for the video on that 👍 Have a wonderful weekend my friend 🤗 John

Thank you for taking us along.. well taking the camera gear, done, etc etc and then the time to edit it altogether into a coherent take comprising thoughtful scenes...a beautiful story had been created. Thank you 'Claire the storyteller' wender of tales and dreams.
That's a great little tent, the endless source of gear that's available these days makes for much fascination. I'm still trying to get out with my tarp... 👍

I'm glad to see she is impartial with her gear comments. I will say though that she has too much stuff. One good tent for all seasons is sufficient. But, she can buy whatever she wants. Great photography and videos. I hope she finds that lost drone. Beautiful country. It's good to see her get out and enjoy the wild, hopefully, her son is with her on some of her adventures.
Fabulous video Claire. Always great to follow a stream when it's warm. Just can't beat getting out exploring. Only way to be. Keep Loving the Adventure 🌱💚
I've not commented on one of your videos for ages as I usually watch on the telly after a long shift at work. I love your videos, they're so relaxing but unfortunately they're too relaxing as I often fall asleep before the end! Just wanted to say thanks for taking us on your adventures and for helping me to unwind on a night! Great video as always, glad you had a good night on the hills and I'm glad I got to see a video to the end! Daz
I'd really recommend taking your poncho tarp with you and using that as a ground sheet, I take mine with me every time. Even when I have my tent, sometimes I put up an overhead tarp covering maybe 20% of my tent and the rest as a sort of porch with my poncho ground sheet out front. Really helps on those hot hot days.
Digging the 1920's fashion while pitching up Claire...😊👍 The set-up looked quick and simple, but adequate. Cracking scenery - Thanks for taking us with you...👌😊 Keep 'em coming. Be safe...
