You forgot to mention that Portuguese also uses vowels â, ê, ô, & õ which are NOT used in Spanish. Plus, altho ç is not used in modern Spanish, it was used in Old Spanish. So, you can VERY rarely see ç in Spanish speaking countries, altho it is VERY VERY rare. I only remember seeing it once in the name of a park in Spain, which threw me off and I incorrectly guessed Portugal because of it.
Yeah there's for sure a huge variety of characters that are exclusive to one language or the other, I decided to only specifically namedrop and showcase the ones my brain jumps to first which are ç and ão. I was also not aware of that fact about Old Spanish as well, thanks for the heads up bro! I'm yet to get baited quite like that by a ç but when I inevitably do I'll remember this comment lol
It might have been in catalunia or galicia, regions which have their own languages. I am almost certain no other spanish speaking country than spain will use the ç even in a place name.
i really love the realm of geoguessr tips because they can be either extremely minutial knowledge of local signage and transportation practices or it can be stuff like "you should racially profile the bricks"
Dude what were the birds doin up there bro 😭I looked it up and those birds sadly are migratory so they're deffo not exclusive to colo or anything like that but imagineeee
I have noticed two tips of my own. For some reason uruguay nature looks often a little bit similan with latvia or russia. The cities also look a little bit same when compared to russia. I don't know why. And the other thing I have noticed is that southern towns like punta arenas make me think greenland cities at first. They have something similar. It's strange.
You could work for the government with how well you locate these places lol. This is never NOT going to leave me in shock, I still cant get over how much info you can gain on the smallest of details. 9:40 shoutout doggy 💀
I should have phrased it better in my commentary, but the black and white striped signpost was the pole I used to narrow down Peru, then I guessed south because of the climate.
Also the name of the street was Cuzco, so likely we were not ghat far from Cuzco. Also, it was an E-W road, and never east of Cuzco (climate) therefore West of Cuzco would have been the optimal guess (and the actual location)
I will try to, eventually! Been very busy over the summer, I have one recorded for Africa already that I hope to have up semi soon. The rest of the continents will follow
@@rubenleary8812 Eventually, I hope to yes! Summer hasn't treated me well and making videos has been put well on the back burner. I have Africa recorded already but the one after that will be Europe.
As you can tell by the differing HUD and everything else I'm sure, I don't actually play on geoguessr. I play on geotastic.net which is quite similar to geoguessr but its free. The downside is it comes with ads and between rounds I get them showing up at the bottom of the screen, and occasionally they doxx my location, hence the cropping.
@@lbarcelow_fishing geotastic.net, it's pretty much the same concept as geoguessr but its free. Downside is ads and I'm not tied in with the real geoguessr community much

@@Dionisio34 I don't think it was in catalunia or galicia. As far as I remember, it was in a more central area of the country, but I could be wrong.

4:02 I'm sorry but what pole exactly that made you guess south Peru?

yo what website is that, because i used to play that before using OpenGuessr
It's called geotastic.net!
Why isn't the video full screen? What's with the black border around the video?
