    Thank you for demonstrating the Button Press. It's difficult for the Button Press (or any button machine) to crimp the thicker material. I would find a circle die or punch that cuts the material just big enough to cover the top of the button and use the mylar to cover the button front and that should secure it nicely to the button.

    Thanks for your video. You explained it very well. I have another brand of button press which I find harder to use. This one is actually easier to use with the exception of the large cutting die. I'll just have to punch out the large circle with my die cut machine.

    Thank you so much for sharing! I spent 3 hours today playing with mine and had so many issues with the blades not cutting through craft paper and photo paper. I'm wondering if mine are defective.

    • @uniquecraftycorner.5998
      @uniquecraftycorner.5998  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mary Zulick that’s not very good. How much pressure did you put? because I had to put quite bit of pressure with mine.

    • @maryzulick2977
      @maryzulick2977 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unique Crafty Corner. I actually put quite a bit of pressure. At first, I was worried I was going to break the darn thing. LOL. I came back at it tonight for a few hours and they seem to be cutting a little better the more I have used them. I think they could have used a higher quality blade myself. Have you had any problems with your photo paper splitting when putting the backing on? I did a couple photos without the milar and noticed they had small splits in a few areas. I am wondering if you don't need as much pressure with photos? It's such a cool tool but I'm skeptical about keeping it with all these issues I'm having.

    • @uniquecraftycorner.5998
      @uniquecraftycorner.5998  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have not noticed any splits yet and on the blade I totally 100% agree with you. I wish it was better. It is such a cool tool but i am thinking about either keep it or not too, mainly on the refill part. most generic blanks don't work and their blanks sold out and don't know when will be available and what price, so still debating.

    • @maryzulick2977
      @maryzulick2977 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unique Crafty Corner. Yes, I noticed the blanks are not to be found anywhere as of yet. I also placed my view on the WRMK Facebook page and found other women are having the same issues. Very disappointed crafters because we all love the concept but the product needs improving!

    • @uniquecraftycorner.5998
      @uniquecraftycorner.5998  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yea totally.
      I don't know if it's just me but if I was bringing new machine out I would have a lot of material/blanks available for people to purchase to actually love the machine. But with this little bundle its not enough and people probably will return it. Its like I got it, did a tests and finally when I got it, all my pieces are gone and nowhere to find more. Kind of disappointing.

      DiValenz145 Hi. Through HSN as a customer I have 30 unconditional money back guarantee so I still have some time. I decided to order BAM button blanks and see if they fit. If they do I think I will keep, but again I have to see. Machine is great and the price is great too because you have three sizes in one machine because the machines out there in retail you have to buy each machine for each size and it would be triple the price so I am still considering because I want to see is there blanks available to use other than the ones from the company. I will do the video probably with the update if the other blanks are working with some more ideas on usage.

    will any of these fit on a badge reel, like to glue on top

    • @uniquecraftycorner.5998
      @uniquecraftycorner.5998  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Linda Dexter I think they should. Badge reels come in different sizes and I mean size of the impression that’s on top or maybe it’s at depression but that circle that you would put or glue these buttons onto. You will just have to make sure that they are the size of the button. I have seen badge reels with 1 inch circle let’s say debossed on top and 1 inch button should fit perfectly there and you would have to see what sizes they come with and maybe try it out but if you don’t put the pin on the back of this button just make it flat they should definitely fit in the badge reel if there are the same size. I hope this makes sense.

    • @uniquecraftycorner.5998
      @uniquecraftycorner.5998  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @Erica Fahrlender. Ahh that’s not good. I don’t know what can it be but let me ask you a few questions and see if that helps. Are you using blanks from we are memory keepers or are you using offbrand or from other sites like Amazon or China or any other sites that you could get blanks? If you are using from other sites or stores I would make sure the size is really accurate or the same because sometimes it says so many millimeters but it could be off just tiny bit and it would be catching on the side but if you are using the ones from we are memory keepers that shouldn’t be happening and I would call customer service maybe they will help better.

    Do you think this machine is hard to use, meaning hard on your hands and back. Many girls were complaining about it. Just curious to see what you think.

    • @uniquecraftycorner.5998
      @uniquecraftycorner.5998  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      JovyCreates Hi. Machine is very easy to use but Let put it this way. If you Will be doing 15-20 at a time then probably not going to feel anything but if you planing to make 50 or more I would say you will get somewhat soreness, because you do have to put pressure but you will not break your back. You do need to put some pressure in any button machine. I have never tried other button machine but I have seen them in use and it’s pretty the same.

      The small and medium is easy to use. I find it is hard to cut using the large cutter. It does not cut through in one press. You have to turn it and press it at least 3 times. What I did find easier is to cut the circle using my die cut machine. But be very careful with the sandwich as I almost broke the large circle cutter. Make sure it is not too thick, just enough to pass thru the die cut machine. But it did the trick. I got to cut in one pass. Or use one of the nesting circle dies. The measurements are: small - 1 3/8 inch, medium 1 7/8 inch, and the large is 2 3/4 inch. If you have a cricut - even better.
