I remember boxing down chester moor at the same time as Trav and JLD and i can remember they stood out as being talented even then when a was a kid, Alan Alderson, both Sheppys and a kid called John Hopper from Sherburn Road all stood out too. Had a couple of nights out with him, very decent lad who not a lot of people understand. A few shitty comments trying to bring him down but we're all guilty of travelling down the wrong path at some point in our lives.
Then there was the Matty Clarkson fight, some classic fights from the very best of boxers stand out throughout a lifelong following of boxing and that fight will always stick in my mind as one of the best.
Respect Trav, cracking podcast too Ricky. Hope youre well.

Another good listen ricky.. I remember about 10 years ago when travis came on the site collecting the scrap I was grafting on ..with a bloke called keeky I’ve probably pronounced that wrong but sure that was the blokes name ..👍🏻

Was in jail with Travis what a roar he was loved mc techno t on a night time haha he's a funny kid and can definetely pagga like glad to see him doing well couldn't see it couple year ago but fair play to him hope to not see you on the inside anymore mate! Question for you if you don’t mind. If you was on a 99 year IPP does that mean you can be at risk to be recalled anytime until that 99 years expires????
Cheers mate, aye I'm on life license so can be recalled at any time, absolute nightmare it is but they are trying to resentence everybody as the sentence was abolished, then I will be free of it.

Was at the arena for his last fight. Never heard the place go from electric to silent after a knockout.

I’m sure he also had fight of year against a kid from either Preston or Blackpool they both dropped each other travis got dropped with body shots travis dropped kid with pretty much first punch an uppercut fight ended up getting stopped the other kid had a lump the size of an orange on his jaw obv broke and red stopped it! Was a pure war sure it was on sky was fight of year.. maybe it was on channel 5 but I could of swore it was sky unless was same fight I’m not sure but either way what a fight !!!! Respect where respects due! 👊👊
