Hyundai engines are butter smooth, NVH levels was always low for all Hyundai cars from 15 years back, the owner talks about this and I am glad people evaluate cars based on refinement which I also do.
I have i20 sportz petrol just 3 months old. Its an awesome car. The engine is so refined. There is no road noise that comes in. Fit and finish is next level. Since sportz has all digital console, at night it looks like an aircraft's cockpit. All 4 suspensions are air suspensions and they are awesome to absorb bumps. Music system has 6 speakers and they sound great. Overall the car looks terrific both inside and out and it has loads of space inside compared to nexon, venue etc.
What about milage and ground clearance.
@@asitdebnath6800 mileage i get 13-14 in mumbai city traffic and 17-20 on highways...ground clearance is very good for city but if you use it on unpaved roads then you should be slightly careful. Ground clearance is better than swift and altroz.
6 speakers? I thought they gave 4 speakers in the sportz variant

I love i20. But the NCAP rating is a real disappointment for such a car. A life saving feature can't be neglected at this price. Features, fit and finish and refinement can't be a replacement for safety.

refinement stability engine these things saves the life too bro if you just think the safety of the person depends on himself how he drives a car tata car gives safety ok but the features quality of mahindra tata are like nothing xuv700 touch screen gets damage like easy many other cases can be seen too in other cars

@@sachin1254 3 cylinder, 4 cylinder is only in gt model which is very costly. Any one cylinder at 60degree idling.. the engine revolution is happening only due to momentum...not power production...hence refinement isnt good.
Also VW being tgdi engines...on a long tour u have to stop every 2 hours to take a break due to engine system heat due to force induction.
Even i20 nline same...I canceled booking due to this when I got to know it was a 3 cyl. I may book the i20 asta o tomrw if I get ready delivery.
No replacement for displacement...so i20 4 cyl is better than 3 cyl if you want to keep your car and car engine for longer.
I own i20 sportz petrol ,it's absolutely complete package ,fit & finish , engine smoothness , looks every thing is top notch.

I owned Santro for 15year and 2.1lakhs Kms with out any engine work not even any clutch work while had to change clutch plates of my Ertiga at 1.2lakhs kms. No concern related to engine but now a days only concern is safety ratings and safety features. For hilly terrain would always prefer a car with higher GC. Anyway that personal choice.

Old i20 curb wieght was high and sturdy that's y it was heavy and milage was very less as much as 8 to 10 kmpl highway pe 13 kmpl.. but new i20 curb weight cum hogaya hai ..milage bhi improve hogaya hai.. city 12 to 13 and highway 16 kmpl it's better now

Maine September 2021 ko kharidi thi aur bahut hi acchi car hai ye aur average highway par 24km/ltr ka liya hai maine...
Aur maje ki baat ye hai ki 5 seater hai par 6 log bahut aram se baithte hai kyunki isme space bahut hai...

मैं दस साल से मैग्ना i20 चला रहा हूं । बहुत बढ़िया गाड़ी है ।इसका ग्राउंड क्लियरेंस बहुत दिक्कत करता है । जरा सी लापरवाही या mis judgement घातक सिद्ध हो सकता है । मैने खुद एक बार नदी क्रॉस करने की कोशिश की और कार का इंजन पत्थर से टकरा गया और अगले दिन पता चला कि इंजन मैन गैसकेट चला गया ।
हुंडई को GC बढ़ाना चाहिए ।
वैसे गाड़ी मजबूत है । एक बार गलत साइड से आ रहे ट्रैक्टर के पहिए से मेरी कार टकराई ।गाड़ी में हम सब सेफ रहे पर ट्रैक्टर का पहिए का किंग पिन बेंड हो गया ।
सर्विस में हुंडई का कोई सानी नहीं ।
अगली गाड़ी भी ह्युंडई I20 ही लूंगा बस GC को ध्यान में रख कर ड्राइव करूंगा ।
Actually I booked i20 asta o and cancelled it,at first while test drive they gave me dct it was ok ,after my friends suggestions again took test drive of i20 asta o, clearly there was a power lag , two times I took test drive from different showrooms clearly there was power lag at uphills again for turbo price was high , within the same price I mean it was around 11.20, I bought Nexon xms for 10.7 , clearly iam very satisfied with Nexon , while driving Nexon in highways , u feel like ur riding on a horse, ground clearance also very low in i20, coming to milage both are almost same with 12 to 14 at city
Bro here they haven't talked about turbo variant. There is lag in turbo always as mentioned by DDS and others. For mountains Naturally Aspirated engines are the best
Ground clearance is high then bodyroll will be high. Also, ground clearance less isn't a concern if wheelbase is less. Alto too never had high GC. Over the top GC u will need only for offroading ingeneral. Not everyone does that and for that we have different cars.

@@surajroopwal I know that bro. But cars having lower ground clearance ingeneral have higher speed stability. U can't expect i20 with higher GC unless it has more weight. Maruti and Hyndai not providing that great body strength. They providing refined engine with features. Even i10 Nios has low GC

NeXon agar normal(aam admi, not car expert) log chalayenge normal tarikese, to cabin silent hi hoga. I have Nexon. Sometimes I tried to start engine when it is already on.

It also happened with my friend. He was driving my Nexon and he owns a Kia Seltos. Depends on the environment. If there is little bit noise around you, then engine can't be heard until you pay special attention. Vibrations are also not that much noticable. In reality Tata 3 cylinder is more refined than Ford 3 cylinder when comparing on the basis of noise only. Performance wise Ford is better but again effciency of Tata is better.
Tata seriously needs to work out on engine refinement and gearbox, the NVH level are high compared to its competition.
Other than these two issue rest all is great abt tata vehicles.

I cannot understand by the car companies cannot make a common model for diesel petrol and electric same like the Tata nexon Hyundai have vested money in electric corner nobody is buying that ex super expensive vehicle why cannot cars like i20 or greater be converted into electric they discontinued the santro but they easily can introduce economical model with limited range but no development cost so price come down and no competition in that economical electric model so simple equation the car companies are avoiding or they are intentionally launching models of above 20 lacs and 25 lacs
