Thanks! I am enjoying the process and making the boat as good new for the owner and hopefully sharing some ideas for other plywood boat owners.

Wow! You've been busy as a bee! Unbelievable how far you can take a boat apart and repair it!

I am relieved all of the parts were fastened and bedded with bedding compound for easy removal. Once patterned they will be put back in the same fashion for the next restorer.

Why do you not repair the corner just like they did back when the boat was popular? All that was done was multiple layers of veneer each layer glued in place with (epoxy today) and stapled in place, sand to fair. The finished result was as strong as original. Or why not just cut 3” off the stern and get in to virgin wood?

Another restorer proposed cutting 6 inches off the stern and shortening the entire boat and all parts running fore and afte. After the owner saw my video on restoring a 1955 Wagemaker Wolverine 14' Plylap, the owner contacted me to see if the original length could be retained and I said "yes" with epoxy and fiberglass cloth. Because the missing molded plywood is about 3 inches in only a few areas I will rebuild it back to the original length and cover the repairs in marine paint.
