one thing i realised you are more used to applying rear brake rather than front brakes. At last i could hear the tire drag sound. Try using both the breaks
Ya I’m using rear breaks mostly.. but in case of any sudden situation I use both breaks … most of the who are used to using back breaks mostly wont use both breaks in case of sudden emergency..

No gloves , no rear view 🪞 mirrors, holding clutch with all four fingers, no finger on front brake. Bad ride experience
I didn’t had a gloves back then and that bike is a test ride bike from RE … about the way I ride, it’s kinda my comfort zone and I don’t recommend anyone to ride like I do, the way I place my finger or anything… and I have got into situations where I needed quick and sudden reactions and I did reacted very easley even when I was placing my hands like that and about back breaking I do engine breaking with back breaks (not hard engine breaking which is not good for engine) it is better in most case and above all it’s my home town and I know most of the possible risky scenarios so not much of a problem … and when I’m riding through a unknown place I keep all these things noted which you just said .. so to me a it ain’t a bad experience… it’s all about the reaction time and what you do when you react…
