Great vid. Always the little things as a hobbyist you forget about. 👍👍
Thank you! Yes that's why youtube vids are so handy ☺️
Very useful as I've run into the same problem with overlay doors that can't open far enough to clear the drawers. Looking forward to the next installment. 👍
Yes tons more info to carry on from this one including drawer heights and runner placement and more ☺️👍
Lovely well explained way of keeping simple and cost effective. I know they are dearer but would have liked to have seen an undermount example. 👍
Thank you. Unfortunately I don't really use the undermounted runners.

Cripes. Took me over 10 minutes to work out what this video was about! I had never ever heard of a drawer cheek. Good video and I think I know what you were saying. But still 🤔
Noted :-)
Thanks for your videos. Really informative. I've just made my first drawer and shelf unit at the grand old age of 60. Your information has been essential. It's not up to your standards obviously but it works. Thanks for your time and instruction.
Wow that is amazing congrats 👍
I love to hear comments like this ☺️
Ryan
Cheers Bud, looking fwd to the drawer spacing vid.
Thank you, I'll get that out in the next few weeks I hope 👍
Brilliant video, covering all the information needed!
Lovely Lovely good to hear thanks!!
Very useful tips! Thank you!
No problem at all 👍👍👍
Great stuff as usual 👏 I really wish there was a way for me to be able to show you the walk-in wardrobe build with 6 600x2400 carcasses, drawers, fully scribed in that I did this summer - unless you want to come visit in Warsaw ? ;)
Thanks largely to your amazing channel. I had NEVER done anything like this before but hours watching your videos led to a result that staggers me every time I walk past it. I still can't believe that it was me who did it :)
Truly thank you my friend for sharing your experience with such generosity and enthusiasm! Sincerely
Thats really amazing to hear, thank you for the nice comment :-)
Your video has some really good detail I love watching your videos, I think something you could really improve on is being clear about what youre designing from the start as you talked about drawers with cheeks meaning inside of a bigger wardrobe then the type of drawer that sit flush with the carcass. Maybe show an image of finished product and design youre going to be doing of what youre talking about. But either way love your stuff and looking forward to the next one
Amazing feedback thank you.
I'll 100% keep that feedback in mind.
All my videos are unplanned and unscripted (make it up as I hope along haha) so sometimes I miss a few things or have a slightly unorthodox method compared to others ☺️
I'll defo aim to explain the project in more detail next time.
Thank you 👍
hi pal, i couldn't see the runners in the description, probably me. great vid
Very informative mate, very in-depth, you’re an ideal teacher, keep the brilliant videos going 👍👍👍
Hi nick,

Thank you for another great video.
Thanks very much ☺️
very informative video----i always enjoy your work thanx rick
Cheers Rick.
Yes I'm aiming to make more of these type of videos as I'm getting positive feedback from them 👍👍👍
Great advice
Thanks maty 👍
Good job
Thank you!!
Very useful info
Amazing good to hear 👍👍
I always start with the doors and work my way backwards.
I know where I want the doors, so then i figure out drawer box placement from there. Once I have that then I figure out where to install the guides
Yes great method 👍👍
Great video. 😊
Thank you ☺️
Nooice
Merci beaucoup!
What height do you do your drawers and drawer fronts? Hope business is going well
Hi!
It all depends...
We don't use fascias very often, just drawers with full pulls.
But heights wise anything from 150 to 250 high on average I'd say
@ so if I do 3 drawers I have a 750mm cheek then the fronts are 215mm however I feel like for 3 drawers 750mm is high??
@deancarter4109 maybe drop it down a bit if you feel 750 is too high.
I do around 800 ish from floor level for drawers mostly but it really just depends on amount of drawers and the height of the drawers the customer want. 👍
Crikey it must have been more than 10 minutes into this video before I had any clue what you were talking about. I had never heard of a drawer cheek. I think I know now. And then you say “iron mongery “. What’s that??? Good video though
Ironmongery are things like drawer runner, hinges, handles , locks all that kind of stuff
