    I've never thought of using a sheet of acetate in my spray box, good idea! I line the bottom of my spray box with a piece of mixed media or watercolor paper so that the overspray eventually gives me another background. I have one journal page that I made using the overspray sheet and it may be my favorite of all my makes. Thanks for all of the useful tips.

    Great tips as always, Gerry. Any ideas how to keep the sprayed surfaces flat while they dry? Lots of curl here!!

    • @GerrysCraftRoom
      @GerrysCraftRoom  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      thanks💖 that all depends on the paper, the m ore it can handle fluids the less curl, some papers soak up fluids and then there is no way you can get it back in it's flat state🙃But once dry I like to add them under the Make-Art Stay-tion (or something else heavy and flat) that will flatten them out if they still can😉

    • @GerrysCraftRoom
      @GerrysCraftRoom  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That's a big problem, especially sprays with shimmer tend to clog easily. You can try soaking the nozzle in warm water, sticking a needle in the little opening and cleaning the backend by taking of the little tube, that's about it.
      But if you have old sprays, try looking for cheap spray bottles and poor the product in those, then clean after using, that's the easiest solution😉

      So frustrating when that happens. You can try taking the pieces apart & cleaning them with some hot water & a sewing needle to poke in the tiny crevices. Not that it guarantees it will keep working. I’ve invested in some pipettes to get the spray out of some of my bottles, or use a paintbrush also. At least that way you can still use the product, even if the spray part doesn’t work.
