I know right. Almost every FanFiction I read about the Black Eagles, Lysithea is almost guaranteed to be in the group. She is basically an honorary Black Eagle.
Black Eagles Student Recruitment Priorities: 1. Lysithea 2. Mercedes and Marianne 3. Ashe and Annette 4. Lorenz, Leonie, and Ignatz Sylvain will recruit himself.
Its funny because Sylvain just fits into the Black Eagles House so much with his endings and development but at the same time its this unlikely accident that the horndog who forced his way into the house for the teachers tits turns out to be also one of the most astute political minds and crest critics of their generation.
I've said this other places, but it's important to contextually the fact that Edelgard is an intelligent, traumatized, angry 17 year old girl when she ascends to the throne. When I was 17, I thought I knew how to solve the world's problems. I "knew" what was wrong with the world, and I "knew" what needed to change. Anyone who would stand in the way of the justice and reform I thought neccessary was either an obstacle or an enemy. I know a lot of teenagers passionate about justice who feel this way. The difference with Edelgard is that she has the power to actually act on those feelings. She's an impulsive self righteous child who has the intelligence to identify problems, but lacks the maturity to be patient in seeking solutions. Unfortunately, she also has command of the Empire. Of course, as we play Crimson Flower, we see that she has matured in the last five years. We see her soften and become open to other ways of thinking more. But the fact remains that she started this war. To back down now would be to render all the suffering meaningless. She chooses to continue because she doesn't want the deaths to be in vain. I totally understand why people don't like Edelgard. When viewed through the other routes, when she doesn't have a key support network to help her maintain perspective, she descends into such madness. She becomes entirely convinced the ends justify the means. But in Crimson Flower, we see her teeter on the precipice and take a step back. While still a leader Machiaveli would espouse as "the ideal prince," she doesn't abandon her humanity. I love Edelgard. But nobody is wrong for feeling differently. I just think it's important to remember: she wad only 17.
@@The_Viscount Plus her lifespan was reduced after the torturous experiments she had to endure so she is aware that she has to act with the little time she has in the world.
Marianne: her hands were firm but warm. Perfect for caring for a horse! Jeritza: And her swordplay was beautiful, deadly, and-- Mercedes: You're missing the point, brother.
Mercedes is there, but Dorothea was one of the original Eagles, so Mercedes was a teamplayer and took her shift in trying to drag Ingrids ass out of the closet, which is why she wasn't on screen.
Saying the word “villain” just doesn’t fit in her case. Or any of the characters’, other than the Agarthans, I guess. She’s the protagonist in Crimson Flower. Antagonist in the other routes but never a villain. Same idea with Rhea, and, really, anyone else you have to either fight or have on your side. Edelgard is the center of the whole game, she is in no way the villain. The main theme is from her perspective, and it plays without the forlorn lyrics and in a major key instead when she achieves her goals
Everybody say "Happy Birthday Edelgard" in the comments or else!
Happy birthday Edie! 🥳 (did I do it right?)
Happy Birthday... El
Happy birthday El
I love how many people just throw in Lysithea among the Black Eagles, as they should, she belongs there

As do Constance, Emile, and Mercedes 🤲🏼
I love that Lysithea is also included.
She’s canonically in every class at the same time XD
If it was me, Marianne and Mercedes would be also have been recruited as well on top of Lysithea.
Lysithea actually makes sense to recurrent in the crimson flower route, given how similar her situation is to Edelgard.
"Why are you awake?"
I ask myself that every morning.
AAAAAAAHHHHHHH it feels weird to hear my own voice but I'm happy none the less! Glad I was able to work on this!
I may not like Edelgard, but I respect her conviction. But I agree that she, her family and siblings deserved so much better.

The lack Marianne and Mercedes is most disturbing.
Marianne: her hands were firm but warm. Perfect for caring for a horse!
Jeritza: And her swordplay was beautiful, deadly, and--
Mercedes: You're missing the point, brother.
@@wanderlustwarrior Perfectly in character 👌
When you don’t recruit Marianne: ya I’m a head out after chapter 12
Mercedes is there, but Dorothea was one of the original Eagles, so Mercedes was a teamplayer and took her shift in trying to drag Ingrids ass out of the closet, which is why she wasn't on screen.
And Constance and Emile
Amazing how one person can change another.
Yo the editing on this is sick! Also great job fellow VA's!!
WOW. Bernie loves this. Nice job. But I do have a question! Where did you find out about this?...
The artist is Sethkiel! Their link is in the description!
Lysithea belongs with the Black Eagles!!! She would 1000% side with Edelgard’s goal (plus I see them as a sister duo)
Imagine having friends lmao
Lysitheas voice got me dying.
‘Why are you awake?’😂
YEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHH WAGLINGTON VIRGINIA UPLOADED!
Happy birthday Edelgard
2:05 HEY! THOSE WORDS ARE ONLY FOR EL, NOT YOU!
Welp right in the feels!
1:28 Oh that's such a Berine thing to do
EL AND BERNIE APPRECIATION SQUAD, UNITE!!!
Three Houses, the only game who made me feel good being the villain
I think the point was that morality has a lot of grey. One person's hero is another person's tyrant.
