I was already crying knowing about Byleth not aging (I always try to ignore that T^T), but the blood transfusion! I cannot believe I hadn't thought of that when Byleth's father actually was such a good example.

The thing is that I think only first-generation crest receivers get that effect, and they have to receive it from a Nabatean. But honestly, we don't know how Byleth's blood would behave, because Byleth was a failed attempt by Rhea to revive Sothis. Or, err, Sitri was at least? But Byleth becomes Nabatean-like after fusing with Sothis...

I'm not sure if Nabatean blood works like that. If Jeralt is any indication, Linhardt would simply be immortal but not de-age. Plus Linhardt has two crests now. Being a normal human may produce complications similar to Lysithea.
But who fucking cares this is just too beautiful.

I love it! Immortal Byhardt 💍💞 the story was so well thought out it, narumi. I thought Byleth was going to lose Linhardt for good, but the way Byleth resolved this was relieving. Good storytelling! I think Lin would enjoy living in future time periods, especially with Byleth by his side ^^

This so utterly enchanting and beautiful, I just…!!! Start to finish, the best thing I’ve watched this year.
Got to say my favorite part is actually the wedding at the beginning for a few reasons. 1, Seteth, Flayn, and Alois being present is so darn wholesome to me (Alois and Seteth fought over who would escort Byleth down the aisle and no one will convince me otherwise). 2, Byleth was clearly certain Linhardt was about to sleep through the majority of the bishop’s speech (which well, yeah that would be in character for Linhardt to sleep through the least interesting part of his own wedding). And then 3, BAM, Linhardt proves Byleth wrong in the best way (and I bet he sure as heck didn’t wait for the bishop to get to the vows and ‘I Do’ part).
I love this so much I’m going to cry a lake in my backyard.
