Often passed en route from Montréal to Quebec City, Trois-Rivières is a must-see destination and the perfect place to base yourself for a weekend getaway or road trip.
It is the third oldest city in North America after Quebec City. There is a wealth of history to explore, including learning about this original Canadian settlement, taking in the historical architecture, and understanding how this city contributed to the development of Canada as we know it today. Like many Quebec cities in the area, it was a central hub for trade, driving development and interest in the country.

I attended university in TR amd and it's one of my favourite places next to my native Mtl.
Fantastic restaurants in addition to historical survivals
