Okay, I have one problem with the new interface now.
3:48 looks like all open strings, it’s almost impossible to tell what the fingering/chord shape is.
The new arpeggio notation is somehow even worse than the old notation.
it's weird but in my limited experience i've been able to play arpeggios better than in 2014, you just have to pay closer attention to the chord shape
For me i dont like it at all, i really miss those glass strumming paterns, and also those arpeggios like you said, i looks like an open string... really bad idea, and the fingers look so small, almost like mini dots

Nice! Interesting that they combined the rhythm and lead parts in this version. I did the same on the cdlc for rocksmith 2014 when I learned this song. It’s just too boring waiting for the other part to finish otherwise. But would probably be a nice break for your hands in a live setting playing a whole set.

I’m glad that there’s a lot of new music, but somehow I found more difficult to read the new interface. 😟
I'm having trouble too. I come from Yousician and Gibson/Zoundio, which both have non 3d scrolling visuals. There's like way too much action on the screen in RS+. I never used RS before, but this new version just feels like overkill. I would love it so much more if they took a similar approach to Yousician and gave an option for which interface people prefer using.
Anyway, this insanity on RS+ screen really downgrades my 2.5 years of playing. I went to the beginner lessons to get used to the game and it said I wasn't hitting simple open chords sometimes, among other things. I hope they'll make some tweaks because other people have made similar comments -- I mean, the seizure warning upon launching the app says a lot about the game UI being way over the top, lol. How can anyone learn with such distracting, unclear scrolling?! 🤷🏼♀️🤔

yeah theres a lot of quality of life improvements with gui being smoother and feeling nicer, however pressing space doesn’t automatically open riff repeater 🤔. theres a few good things but overall id wait for more songs and a ui fix because its no where near worth it

@@chap3509 Hammett is absolutely not strumming that fast. It should just be 3211 (or 3212, it's disputed which one) but they tabbed it 332211.
@@PuppetMasterIX The original recording is a bit sloppy if you slow it down and listen closely, so they probably misinterpreted what hammett was trying to play there
Won't lie saying there's a ton of technique work to be done, but that's a great start. Try alternate picking to follow the speed better at least, your hand can't move that fast (yet?/biologically?)

They need to make significant improvements to the song library. No Megadeth, Volbeat, Motley Crue, Avenged Sevenfold, Alice In Chains, Pantera, Rob Zombie, Def Leppard etc and Master of Puppets is only available in the EU & UK.
