The rell devs already told us how the marine will work, they devs of the game will be the world government and they will host rank-up trials for marines , like admiral trials that will be pvp based and they will send admirals for pirates with high bountyes,this is what they said in the 1st movie

I think if ur a low rank marine youll probably do chores like cleaning the chiefs office, have mentors or train with other marines like what Koby and Helmeppo did
Weapons and fruit dont depend on stats they stated that every weapon does the dame damage as any other weapon and same for fruits that'll do the same damage as other fruits etc

A theory i had was that, pirates start raids and capture towns and marines come and stop the raids for honor/reputation and/or have rank up quests after reaching a certain honor/reputation rank up quest can include killing bosses killing/jailing pirates with high bounty(the amount of bounty that ur target has can vary depending on which rank u are trying to get) and wars with pirates sound cool also a jail system could be cool and jail breaks and stuff Another thing i would love to see is making fruits actually rare in games u BARELY see sword much less gun mains tbh so fruits should be atleast moderately difficult to get Maybe a way to encourage people to get marine honor is by having an honor store where you may be able to get a fruit and much more Also have more npc business like world of magic harming npc for no reason should have consequences like marines get a quest to kill u or npc marines get dispatched An idea i have is that marines can form groups and get quests for their group Like maybe when you are a high rank you can get quest to train marines(npc) for honor So people have another option to get some honor Thats its Sorry for no commas
