As far as I know, a story mode won't be included, but the game will still have a story that you can learn about. For example, there will be sea shanties that tell the story of old pirates. There will also be artifacts and such, and each island might have a story
Devil fruits are still probably gonna be hard to get cause they aren't gonna have like a black market or anything but once you find one it won't matter which you get cause all of the fruits are good
