Awesome!!! I bought a series 2 single rectifier head of reverb last year. It has original and replacement tubes for every socket. Snagged a genuine mesa 2x12 horizontal cab a few months back. I rarely use it cause it's too damn loud for my current residence. One day I hope to crank it up to ten and rock properly. Cheers, Also the foot switch lag issue you're experiencing is a common fault to series 1 mesa's. My series 2 has no such issue when switching channels. I've still not used the effects loop.

@@schorschharrisonyeah the snare sounds like a metal trash can but the guitar tone is pretty good. I usually don’t like a lot of mids in my tone but the St. Anger tone sounds good to my ears for some reason

Lots of gain hides all of those little mistakes, I actually find clean playing harder. Anyway your a hell of a player, I wish I had your downpicking speed 😅

You should try to make a St. Anger style tone with the rectifier
Haven't listened to the record for a long time. I can't remember if the guitar sound is cool on that one. Everybody's just talking about the snare.

Definitely not because of the power amp. You can‘t sit next to this thing when cranked.
