I was a Chef for 20+ years and my mental health went downhill. Being a man I didn't talk to anyone because I saw it as being weak. I went bushwalking and I knew that it was nature I needed. I hope you find happiness with your family in Italy.
@@ghaida7161 I see it as for the biggest part of our history we were hunter gatherers 2-3 million years. 10 thousand years ago we became farmers,200 years ago we had the industrial revolution which I see it as the core of my problem. We evolved along side nature until the industrial revolution. All this kind of work strips and seperates us from nature. Which I see it as the core of my problem.
I recently had to quit my job in Iceland and go back to my home country, Greece, because of my mental health being a mess... Leaving my boyfriend behind was HARD, and I am not feeling perfect now that I am in Greece... but i do feel a lot better and more hopeful, and my boyfriend is coming to Greece in a month and we'll spend half the summer here before heading back to Iceland! Making this move was again very hard for me, I was having multiple breakdowns about both the options I had; staying in Iceland till June or leaving my boyfriend for a month and quitting my job. However, I promise to everyone who's going through dilemmas that it does get better! It's only making the first step that hurts a lot... Thank you for this video Rosie, really made me feel better 💗
yeah it sucks, I live in London and im from Spain and every time I go back to Madrid I feel much better , I feel happier than when Im in London. Even though I chose to move away , now I feels like not right thing , im 21 now I moved away when I was 19 almost 20. But the point is even though everything is going well economically, still I miss everything my family , my friends, my home and you could say EASY just go back but the thing of letting down my family if I tell them that I want to go back, just hurts. Its like I have a dream there are so many things I want to do but this sucks I feel alone sometimes, even though I have friends but they're people that still I've just met 1 year ago and even when im hanging out with them, still the same feeling , I WANT TO GO BACK. but again is not that easy ...
I'm from UK, and London is a cold city , not just from the weather. , I hope you find happiness , just messaging because I . Ived in London , and even though I'm British know how hard it can be living their , good luck whatever you decide
I recognise what you are describing, but you've only been in london for a year or a bit longer. This is such a short amount of time that it is quite normal to feel that way, like homesickness. The thing is, the longer you stay in london the more it will feel like a home, your environment, your routines, it will feel more familiar, more comfortable. Remind yourself of why you went in the first place, if it's worth it wait it out, otherwise you can always go back with the skills and experiences you obtained.
This happened to me as well at the age of 23 i shifted to Australia. But i shifted back to my home country 1.8 years later as it was getting really exhaustive and more confusing for me. I was privileged enough to take a break for one year for my mental health in my house.. went through a horrible breakup , quit my studies halfway.. but now when i look back it all makes so much sense and it has made me so much stronger. This July i turn 27 and i am just so at peace with myself and just overall happy although i lost a man and screwed up with my career plans.. life may never go as planned for few of us but it's okay.. you are more important than what you have planned so always choose yourself ❤️❤️

I am so excited for you Rosie!!! Hopefully this does wonders for your emotional/mental health! Congrats on finally making it out of the food service industry!

Have a good time back in Italy! I got to know your channel thanks to the video about your grandma's food, so I hope you show us more similar things about Italy. You will do amazing as a youtuber ❤
I just ran into your what you eat in a week video in Italy a while back then, it was great! It was heartwarming and you looked happier there. I hope you find happiness back home! (and subscribed for more Italian food content lol

Your mental health comes first!! I am in my 60's and have struggled with depression and anxiety my whole adult life due to childhood trauma. You need to do what is best for yourself. Take good care of yourself!!
Wishing you good luck for the future. I have to say I subscribed to your channel last year because of the vlog in regards to your family and the wonderful and traditional meals you had in Italy while you was there. I’ve watched that vlog so many times and love it so much. So I can’t wait for more vlogs about life in Italy with your amazing family . ❤️❤️
sorry to hear about your job. finding out your calling in life is a process. its really good that you have other options to explore! be brave :) also I can't wait to see your videos in Italy!
I appreciate your transparency about your situation. It’s very hard to leave your home country and establish a new home so far away. Maybe if you decide to stay in Canada, you can find a community other Italian expats in Canada?
hey luv - experienced a similar thing: moving away from home (Navajo Nation) and returning to the southwest area (USA). I also feel you on conjuring up rent, bleh! However, I'm realizing taking it day-by-day the essence of coming back & fully living in the homelands in well over a decade since starting school & recently completing a master's + a new job has been a blessing to say the least. Sending you luv, sunlight & much happiness back home in Italy! - would also agree with many folks on a part 2 of 'what you eat in a week' -
Omg so excited for all the vlogs! Pls try to do more than one video per week, if you can! The things you think are boring, like making food or just talking with your sister or family.. or just walking… those things are so fun to watch! Have fun and even if you’re having a “boring day” in your opinion, still vlog. Also… i would love longer videos! It’s fun to see people across the world and how they love their daily lives! Sending much love from Los Angeles… (also i will be coming to Italy on June 13th for 2 weeks for my honeymoon) so fun hopefully will run into you! Haha 🥰💗
Please please make another "what i eat in a week in Italy with your nonna" i´m obsessed with all the dishes she made, she´s amazing!!!!

This is motivating. I wish you the best, can't wait for more videos in Italy with Nonna! Much love to you!
OMG YOU ARE FINALLY BACK ❤️❤️❤️
hey luv - experienced a similar thing: moving away from home (Navajo Nation) and returning to the southwest area (USA).
- would also agree with many folks on a part 2 of 'what you eat in a week' -
Congrats in achieving 100k subs, hope you enjoy your time in Italy and make a lot of interesting content.
Just discovered your channel and it’s great. Keep up your spirits and keep showing us how beautiful Italy and....Viva la Nonna
Haha 🥰💗
I’m super excited for a summer of Italy videos!!!! Yay!! I want to see grandma, nature, and people, and lots of ditl videos plz. 🤓🥳
Omg I can not wait for the content ☕️✨💕🧚🏼♀️💋
I love your channel so much !!
😍
I love how short and sweet your videos are ❤️
You are my new comfort channel. Please post more.
