This was a genius game feature. I remember getting back from a mission, or making the journey to a different zone, and being tired and trying to incorporate the new story elements just learned, and making gear/inventory choices, waiting for the next emission,... and being in a makeshift tavern with other stalkers and one of them has a guitar was better than 100 health. ❤❤❤

I adore the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. community, everyone so friendly and immeresed into the post-apo theme of the game. It's curious that almost every other older game which is focused on the story has this kind of community, not like the modern games with their toxicity. I never seriously played the games, only Call of Pripyat for a few hours (the game feels too hard for me) and I'm more of a "watch someone else play it" kind of guy. But I still love the post-apo theme, and the Metro series (which I finished multiple times) seems similiar to me and that's why I love this game despite never playing it. And I'm sure that I'll try the STALKER 2.

Wow After I watch the STALKER 2 trailer It made me play the last 3 old game Stalker soc, Stalker cop, and Stalker clear sky. After I finished playing them I discovered the best Music that I should listen to it and the best community that I should be with, it has no toxic members or anything that can make you mad. I started playing stalker because of the memes and the wealth of people who sing nothing but praises of this game. I stayed for the gameplay and, more importantly, the atmosphere.
All of the songs that I know, this list will be edited as I figure out what they are 1) no clue 2) firelake, live to forget. This was a song written exclusively for stalker call of pripyat. 3) this one sounds like it was composed by ear, I don't know if it's based on something 4) sounds good, but I can't recall the melody. 5) slavic folk song "ех яблочко" 6) sounds like the start of the song "давай навариватся" by lyube 7) "nese halya vodu" (provided by dafu_lafu replying to this comment) 8) same thing with this one. I could have sworn I heard it somewhere else, but I don't remember where. 9) this would be the same case as number 3, probably composed by ear. 10) "blind guardian"- the bard's song. (Again provided kindly by dafu_lafu) 11) this sounds like the ending credits for shadow of chernobyl. It's probably a song composed exclusively for the stalker series All subsequent songs are from shadow of chernobyl and clear sky, so they were composed only for use in thr stalker games. I don't know who exactly composed them, but they are awesome and overall classic tunes.

Once I went to chernobyl walking around there with some of those radioactive protection gear but I modified it to a camo color While playing this music, I went to one of those reactors that were unfinished and it looked like metro 2033 it was an amazing experience and I almost died beacuse I was lost in it but I luckily navigated the way out and the 2nd time I almsot died was when I didn't realize that the floor was made from ply wood and I also found some propaganda banners to keep the workers working at the time,

Hey guys. Toasted bread man alt account here. Mostly playing multiplayer now... Because I'm stuck in this fucking agropom underground place with NO MEDICINE and this fucking controller. Ak-74... And... Yeah. Can't get outta here unless I find another way out Wich my lazy ass didn't and i just thought of that now.

I started playing stalker because of the memes and the wealth of people who sing nothing but praises of this game. I stayed for the gameplay and, more importantly, the atmosphere.
All of the songs that I know, this list will be edited as I figure out what they are
1) no clue
2) firelake, live to forget. This was a song written exclusively for stalker call of pripyat.
3) this one sounds like it was composed by ear, I don't know if it's based on something
4) sounds good, but I can't recall the melody.
5) slavic folk song "ех яблочко"
6) sounds like the start of the song "давай навариватся" by lyube
7) "nese halya vodu" (provided by dafu_lafu replying to this comment)
8) same thing with this one. I could have sworn I heard it somewhere else, but I don't remember where.
9) this would be the same case as number 3, probably composed by ear.
10) "blind guardian"- the bard's song. (Again provided kindly by dafu_lafu)
11) this sounds like the ending credits for shadow of chernobyl. It's probably a song composed exclusively for the stalker series
All subsequent songs are from shadow of chernobyl and clear sky, so they were composed only for use in thr stalker games. I don't know who exactly composed them, but they are awesome and overall classic tunes.

I have not played the STALKER series yet (I will play it some time, it looks fun) but the campfire tracks in these games sound so good, I have listened to this entire video in my classroom lots of times.

Once I went to chernobyl walking around there with some of those radioactive protection gear but I modified it to a camo color
While playing this music, I went to one of those reactors that were unfinished and it looked like metro 2033 it was an amazing experience and I almost died beacuse I was lost in it but I luckily navigated the way out and the 2nd time I almsot died was when I didn't realize that the floor was made from ply wood and I also found some propaganda banners to keep the workers working at the time,

Атмосфера будет утеряна, когда последний район полузаброшенных заводов и запущенных пятиэтажек пойдёт под снос, не дожив запроектированный век. А пока - сталкер, шмалкер, первоисточник-то он в реале. Можно прийти, посмотреть, понюхать, написать родные три буквы на заборе и добавить дату в углу, и сделать про это игру.
