Very nicely put together, Fil! The mix of camera angles was awesome, you made a promo video for this rally car! Looks like it handles a treat and looks sweet doing it too! RIP Grandma Ellen - "If love was enough, you would have lived FOREVER ❤" What a lovely sentiment, I will remember that, buddy... Stay excellent, dude! 😎👊👍
Thanks Mark! It's a lot of fun working with all the different angles. Folks on the beach think I'm a crazy person, but that's ok. Lol! 🤣 And I found it only fitting to pay respect to our recently lost love one in the best way I know how, through RC videos. Grandma Ellen loved these videos, so it was kinda fitting. 🤗
GREEEAT EDIT, Fil!! loved the realistic camera angles. It even gave me a Colin McRae Rally game or maybe even a sorta dreamy Ridge Racer vibe, if that makes any sense.
It's very responsive, and plenty powerful. I'm shocked at the combination of torque and top end out of the motor, it's surprisingly powerful and balanced. The suspension is incredible, this chassis is a winner! 👊🏼
Thanks brother! To hear you say that means a lot, you've seen all the running videos! Haha! You'd love this rally car pal, it's kinda crazy how awesome it handles right out of the box. 🤩
Thanks dude! Yeah this body is so nice, it's tough to warrant scratching it. But hey, it's a rally car, they're not supposed to be all shiny and dent free! 😉👊🏼
G'day Fil 🤠🙋♀️, That looked really well planted to the ground!, you were spot on about the amount of suspension travel, it works so well👌. Great camera work and editing mate👍🏆. Thanks for sharing your run video Fil. We hope you have a great week👍🦘🇦🇺
Thanks dude! Yeah this thing was glued to the ground, the suspension soaked up all the big hits with ease, and the ultra scale Subaru body looked so good out there. Thanks for commenting, my friend. 👊🏼
Thanks buddy! It seemed to take forever to edit this one, but I'm happy with how it came out. I too had to swallow a big dose of Tamiya pride on this one. For an RTR Kyosho, this chassis performs! 👌
Hahaha, thanks man. Practice makes perfect. Go back and watch my first RC movies, they were not exactly at this level. We all start at the bottom and work our way up. Cheers brother! 🍻
what a nice tribute to your Grandma! may she RIP..was wondering which rally was better to drive and which had the better handling? the Kyosho or the Tamiya Abarth Fiat? cheers and stay always excellent with your videos!
Thanks for the awesome feedback! 👌 As for which RC is superior, I'd say the Fazer Mk2 nudges out the MF-01x slightly, and really just due to its size. The MF-01x is wicked, I love it and can't say enough good things about it. Only drawback is that it's small. The Mk2 is much larger, and the bigger tires have an easier time on the trails. That said, the MF-01x is still an excellent little RC, and will always be one of my favorite runners. 😍
Nicely done Fil! Great footage and editing in there! The car ran great and looks fantastic out there flinging sand and gravel all over the place. RIP Ellen
@poorboysrc Thanks Fil just feeling sorry for me and the wife lol but yeah its a real bummer when it all kicks off on the bounce! I haven't touched an rc for what seems ages! Must get going again because it does help with stress! I have a GH2 in a box its a pile of bits it might be just the start up! Cheers buddy.
Haha perfect! O.T. is great for RC money. And you won't be disappointed, this chassis is an absolute blast. And the kit supplied 14t motor is shockingly impressive. 👌
It's all it's cracked up to be, and more! It's actually so fast that I had to slow down my driving just to film it and not crash into a log! Lol! I think you're gonna love it, it's a great rig! Cheers to the Synthfam! :)
Thanks dude! It handles exceptionally well, and the 14t motor somehow has gobs of torque, and really good top end. It handles a lot like my TT-02, but better. More precise and less wandering. 👍🏻
Wow epic video Fil! Looks like this car drives as well as it looks. Top work on the videoing and edit. Good to take a moment to remember Grandma. Best wishes mate 👍👍
Thanks Pete, the car is top notch, I'm quite impressed by the Fazer Mk2 FZ02 platform! I could see it tearing up that golf course you have been out filming on so many times. 😉😂👊🏼
Right on, thanks for coming on board! A fellow synthwave lover, hey? You're going to hear a lot of it on this channel, haha. Catch ya on the next one! 👊🏼
Right on dude, thanks for that excellent comment! Rally videos are a different beast, it's a lot of work to get all the good shots, and tie them all in together to make it fluid. Best of luck with your videos! 👍🏻🍻
That's was DELIGHTFUL Fil!!! 👌 I actually hit ⏪ and watched it again not once, but twice!! You captured the rally vibe so well there bud.... awesome camera angles, fast and furious, and extremely realistic! The music was perfectly synchronised to the visuals as well, nice touch man. I said you would enjoy this car didn't I mate? Those Fazers really do pack a punch with that 14 turn 550 motor, and they really are quite a handful.... they also tend to get airborne quite easily, which makes them a real blast to drive! You certainly didn't hold back there fella. I find mine does tend to zap the battery very quickly, but that's a small price to pay! Curious to find out if you had any problems with the gravel getting inside and jamming up the moving parts? 🤔 It's the main gripe I have with my Fazer mk2.... obviously mine being the on road version it doesn't have that lexan under body lexan guard that the rally version comes with. If it worked well then I have to invest in one of those for mine, as I love tearing up the dirt and gravel! Keep up the great work matey, your channels going from strength to strength! 👍 👍 👍
Thanks so much, James! You were right, man. That 14t 550 is incredibly torque, yet still has a great top end. I don't know how they did it? And those grippy tires just grab hold and rip the Mk2 in any direction you point it. I was very impressed by it! As for debris, I had a little trick that worked to help keep the rocks and sand out. I velcro'd the inner debris tray to the chassis sides. It worked really well! Probably kept out 90% of the rocks and sand. My steering did bind up a few times though. Little stones would get in there just as you said. But they'd wiggle out, and we'd be back on the road. 👍🏻🍻😁
@@poorboysrc So glad you enjoyed it matey.... It sure looked like fun! Cheers for the velcro tip.... I will try to find/buy or make a debris guard for mine and get on that one! Would love to see some more content on this one mate, us UK crew love Rally content! Rally time trials perhaps? Tamiya VS Kyosho? 🤔 Lots of potential that could really utilise those superb camera and editing skills that you have been killing it with off late! Have a great week Fil! 👍 👍 👍
Thank you, glad you liked it! 👍🏻 I used 2 cameras in this movie. GoPro hero 10 Black for all the high speed action shots (this is probably the one you're asking about). And my Samsung Galaxy S10+ for all the slow motion shots. 👊🏼
A nice car, but for the price it HAD to be brsuhless. In my country costs 300 euros where a xv01 kit costs 189 and the the addictional 100 can get u brushless setup and decent electeonics
You can get same result from a well set up XV01 for less money XV can do everything this can for less Kyosho made the 1/8 landmax 30 years ago it was nitro That was a great rc rally chassis kyosho price for this 1/10 is over priced for what it is
I've read a few comments saying this, but I don't see where an XV01 costs less? Even now, a quick Google search, and the XV-01 best price I can find is about $335 CAD, and that's without a radio, or servo. Add another $80 for both of those items (budget friendly price) and you're sitting at $415.00 -- The Mk2 FZO2 is $365 RTR.
Thank you! I'm actually trying to, but I can never seem to get through to the person in charge. I've reached out several times with no luck. I'll stay on them though! Thanks for the vote of confidence! 👍🏻
Your videos getting high level. Beautiful country and super great editing. Just super. Many thanks from Belgium king of beer .
Thank you so much for that comment! I love making these videos, and I love Belgian beer! Haha! Cheers! 🍻
Awesome video Fil really enjoyed it 👍

Your running video and my coffee, awesome start into the day. Have a great Sunday Fil
Ah, perfect! Glad you caught the video with coffee in hand, Dirk. I like to do the same thing. 🤗
A great looking car and some nice editing. Now I'm back from my 3 week work trip in Europe I can catch up on the videos I missed.
Ah right on, I hope your trip was excellent! 👍🏻👊🏼
@poorboysrc it was and I picked up some LRP shock oil and Mugen diff oil for a bargain, so now it's time to get to work and refresh my old buggy.
You put out an excellent video with that one. Would love it if you could do a comparison video with the TT02, that would be enlightening. 😊😊😊
Thanks so much! It was a fun video to put together. I'm glad you enjoyed it. 😉
And yes, I do plan on doing a comparison to the TT02 very soon! 👊🏼
Which ones faster out of the box 😂
GREEEAT EDIT, Fil!! loved the realistic camera angles. It even gave me a Colin McRae Rally game or maybe even a sorta dreamy Ridge Racer vibe, if that makes any sense.
Thanks dude! I was trying to create as realistic a feel as possible for the viewer, so I'm happy to hear it turned out that way for you! Cheers! 🍻👊🏼
What a great video Fil 👌 looks amazing nice touch to Grandma Ellen 🙏
Thanks, brother! Hope you're having an excellent Sunday! 😊
awesome video Fil, loved the angles you worked from as it really showed that chassis at work.
the suspension looks like it really soaks it up
Thanks brother! Yeah the suspension is out of this world! Pair that to a well balanced chassis and a great motor, and this kit is a winner! 👌
@@poorboysrc yes looks like it's going to be an absolute hit, I want to get some of their classics from the 80's put I may buy this also
Fun video and excellent angles. Ready to hear your thoughts on how the car drives.
It's very responsive, and plenty powerful. I'm shocked at the combination of torque and top end out of the motor, it's surprisingly powerful and balanced. The suspension is incredible, this chassis is a winner! 👊🏼
Belisima!! One of the best running videos I've sean. Might have to get that car for myself.
Thanks brother! To hear you say that means a lot, you've seen all the running videos! Haha! You'd love this rally car pal, it's kinda crazy how awesome it handles right out of the box. 🤩
Nicely filmed, big fan of Kyosho EPs so nice to see one being used as it should be,not just a shelf queen....

Thanks buddy! It seemed to take forever to edit this one, but I'm happy with how it came out. I too had to swallow a big dose of Tamiya pride on this one. For an RTR Kyosho, this chassis performs! 👌
Feels like watching one of my own.. but done by a professional.😆 You killed it man, and thank Mark Bryan for the style! (taking notes) 😁

As always, great editing👍🏼 waited for lunch time to watch this on big screen😂 thanks for sharing Fil, appreciated🙏🏼
Ah, very nice! Always better on the big screen! Cheers! 🍻👊🏼
Cool rally, but how fast is it over the stock Tamiya.
I didn't do a speed test (I will soon), but I'd say the FZO2 is probably 30km/h while a TT02 stock would be closer to 22 km/h. 👊🏼
Very nice running video, and i love the tune 👌 think this has made me decide that i do need one 😂 i better get some overtime in then 😁
